MEMBER DIARY

An Administration Of Cowards

Few Public Officials Are More Worthy of A Contempt Citation Than Attorney General Holder

I congratulate our current Attorney General. He has most certainly succeeded in putting the contempt in the Contempt of Congress Citation. Holder has been in Antipathy of much of Congress since the day he called America a Nation of Cowards. He then proved his mettle and bravery by presiding over the unmitigated fiasco of an anti-gun sting effort known as Operation Fast and Furious.

He further proved his courage by refusing to turn over any information concerning the operation to Congressman Issa’s Oversight Committee and claiming the entire fiasco was All Bush’s Fault.™ That, however, has not prevented him from deliberately interpreting law in a way designed to further his own ends regardless of whether they have the consent of the governed. This culminated when President Obama exercised a claim of executive privilege to prevent Issa from getting the documents he had requested. Congratulations Mister Holder. You have helped President Obama’s administration go from Hope to Change to Nixon.

Holder’s abuses are legion and extend far beyond his role in the carnage south of The Southern US Border. Holder has used the DOJ to attack state laws he doesn’t like. Examples include provisions favoring Voter ID, (which he considers racist) and immigration laws in Arizona, Utah, Alabama and South Carolina. (Which I’m stunned to learn he also believes are racist). The Comedy tag-team of Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano defend Holder’s attack against Federalism with respect to immigration policy below.

“A patchwork of immigration laws is not the answer and will only create further problems in our immigration system,” said Attorney General Eric Holder. “The federal government is the chief enforcer of immigration laws and while we appreciate cooperation from states, which remains important, it is clearly unconstitutional for a state to set its own immigration policy. We will continue to monitor and coordinate with our federal partners as we remain concerned about the potential impact of these state laws.”

“This kind of legislation diverts critical law enforcement resources from the most serious threats to public safety and undermines the vital trust between local jurisdictions and the communities they serve,” said Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano. “The Department will continue to enforce federal immigration laws in Utah in smart, effective ways that focus our resources on criminal aliens, recent border crossers, repeat and egregious immigration law violators and employers who knowingly hire illegal labor.”

Another unique aspect of Holder’s tenure at DOJ has been his nearly Avenger-Like efforts to not support laws that have already been enacted. On Election Day 2008, Bartle Bull described the conduct of two members of the New Black Panther Party outside of a Philadelphia polling station.

“I watched the two uniformed men confront voters, and attempt to intimidate voters. They were positioned in a location that forced every voter to pass in close proximity to them. The weapon was openly displayed and brandished in plain sight of voters….I heard the shorter man make a statement directed toward white poll observers that ‘you are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker.’

Attorney General Holder handled the matter by immediately dismissing the case in 2009. He told DOJ Attorney Christian Adams that he would not tolerate anyone filing Voting Rights Act cases on behalf of White Plaintiffs against Black Defendants. Adams quit in righteous disgust.

Eric Holder rages when people accuse him of running a The Department of Justice in a political fashion. He once reportedly had to be separated from Minister of Propaganda, David Axelrod. Yet the man is either purblind or myopic to the point of disability. Perhaps he is a hypocrite of Olympian proportion. He has sworn to uphold the law, but has repeatedly treated his sinecure of power as a vehicle for political activism.

Stripped of his awesome power, and Eric Holder would be a sorry joke. He still remains a joke, but with his position and his empire, he is a menace. Eric Holder is a joke on all of us. After the election of 2012 we will find out if Holder is still laughing. If he is still America’s Attorney General in January of 2013, then I’ll probably have to admit that he had a point about America being a nation of cowards.

At least Nixon’s claim of Executive Privilege involved the Executive. This claim seems to be even more egregious. The SCOTUS applications of the Privilege don’t seem to cover communications between a Cabinet member, and/or his senior staff, and lower ranking members of his Department, with the President supposedly not part of the communication, nor members of his immediate staff. This bunch makes Nixon look like a piker.

This assertion of executive privilege involves the executive. There is no way anyone in DOJ was running guns for Mexican Drug Cartels without Eric Holder’s knowledge and there is no way Court Jester Holder didn’t have many conversations with the King and the King’s Council about the program. That the buck might stop at Jester Holder is MSM spin. DON’T BELIEVE IT FOR A MINUTE! As Dick Morris said, “President’s don’t exert the privilege 4 months before an election to preserve their Constitutional prerogative, they assert it to save their skin.” The King could care less about Eric Holder or Lanny Breuer’s skin; he is worried about his own.

As demonstrated by his comments to Adams and his actions to support, or at least cover for, the Black Panthers.

      There…Full Metal Godwin

Via a default judgment , when Holder ordered the charges dropped. Disgustingly political.

Unless Obysmal pardons this guy when he gets the boot in November,he will be in prison soon after the inauguration of the new president. We’ll see how fast and furious he is in the big house!

  • westcoastpatriette

no matter how long it takes. And he’s pissed.

    • checkmate2012

too. He’s done an awesome job and I personally am sick of those in our Party that say we shouldn’t pursue this for political sake because it’s a matter of LAW. Right versus wrong.

..will Boehner and Cantor stay the course ?

  • veritaseequitas

Liar Holder can get a decent night’s sleep worrying about their futures. I hope they are restless and poked and prodded with fear and trepidation all the night long.

“This kind of legislation diverts critical law enforcement resources from the most serious threats to public safety”

I guess he is suggesting that if we put more enforcers on Border Watch, we will not have enough child molesters at the airport check points.

Perhaps, stopping an illegal from crossing the border is less important then strip searching a wheelchair bound woman of 65.

To which resources and what critical threats is he actually referring.

If you are an unabashed racist and others disagree with you they must be racist. Also if you are the very smartist, all others are dumb. And even more, if you are an alleged political punk from Chicago, honest voters are too insignificant to consider except as resources for use.

    Questions, class?

To be neat and well groomed the facial hair should be trimmed in to the center of each nostril.
