Well, here is the long-awaited answer to the question of Rubio possibly considering a vice presidential spot. His answer is pretty clear.
Reporter: Do you think it’s time though for Republicans to coalesce around one of the two candidates left in the race that’s not Donald Trump to be able to stop him?
Rubio: Yeah, I mean I think that’s going to happen now that the race has narrowed even further and hopefully there’s time to still, you know, prevent a Trump nomination which I think would fracture the party and be damaging to the conservative movement.
Reporter: Would you consider being Cruz’s vice president, any type of a —
Rubio: No, I’m not gonna be anybody’s vice president. I’m just not gonna—I’m not interested in being vice president. I don’t mean that in a disrespectful way. I’m not gonna be vice president. I’m not running for governor of Florida. I’m gonna finish out my term in the senate over the next 10 months, we’re gonna work really hard here, and we have some things we want to achieve, and then I’ll be a private citizen.
