Update (3:00 pm Eastern): One of the Israeli hostages freed on Sunday, 84-year-old Elma Avraham, is critically ill and was airlifted to the hospital.

IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari says released hostage 84-year-old Elma Avraham was taken to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba in serious condition.

“Elma, who was returned to us in serious condition, was immediately evacuated by helicopter to the hospital. She was evacuated by IDF troops while still inside Gaza,” he says.

The hospital is reporting that Avraham is in "poor physical condition and severe clinical condition."

In addition to the 14 Israelis released on Sunday, the other three hostages have been identified as Thai nationals.

Update (12:10 pm Eastern):  Another of the 17 hostages released by Hamas terrorists today has been identified. He is Roni Krivoi, a dual Russian-Israeli national who was kidnapped from the Supernova music festival, where he was working on October 7. Krivoi's release was reportedly secured pursuant to Vladimir Putin's intervention.

Original Story

As RedState reported, pursuant to the temporary ceasefire agreement, Hamas released 24 of the hostages it had held in Gaza since its October 7 attack on Israel on Friday. That first group included 13 Israelis (six elderly women, four young children, and three mothers of those children), as well as 10 Thai citizens and one Filipino citizen.

Seventeen more were released on Saturday, including 13 more Israelis (seven children and six women) and four more Thai nationals.

Sunday brought more good news as another 17 hostages were turned over by the terrorists to the International Red Cross. While the news is still coming out, early reports are that among them are 14 more Israelis (one of whom is also an American citizen), along with three foreign nationals.

Among those identified as being released are nine Israeli children, two mothers (of six of the children), and two older women.

The list of those released in this third group reportedly includes:

  1. Abigail Idan, 4
  2. Ella Elyakim, 8
  3. Dafna Elyakim, 15
  4. Hagar Brodetz Ama, 40, and her children
  5. Ofri Brodetz, 10
  6. Yuval Brodetz, 8
  7. Oriya Brodetz, 4
  8. Chen Goldstein, 48, and her children
  9. Agam Goldstein, 17
  10. Tal Goldstein, 9
  11. Gal Goldstein, 11
  12. Alma Avraham, 84
  13. Adrian Aviva Siegel, 63

Abigail Idan is also an American citizen. According to National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, she was among 10 American citizens who remained in captivity in Gaza as of Sunday morning.

National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said 10 American hostages remain in Gaza as of Sunday, and that three of them qualify for release under the latest deal because they are women and children as anticipation builds for more hostages to be freed this weekend.

...

The Biden adviser said on ABC’s “This Week” that there are two women, one child and seven men who make up the 10 Americans who remain as hostages taken by Hamas in Israel on Oct. 7.

...

Sullivan said the U.S. has “reason to believe” that one of the American hostages, a 4-year-old girl, will be released today but gave no guarantees.

...

The girl is Abigail Idan, who turned four while being held hostage in Gaza last week. Sullivan said Sunday while the U.S. does not know the current condition of Idan, they expect her be alive.

Unfortunately, Abigail's parents were murdered on October 7th.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more details regarding the third set of hostages released become available.
