Should be a relatively quiet day on the Hill, with it being Easter recess/Good Friday. Obviously, no hearings are scheduled, though things do look to heat up once Congress returns from its break, between the impeachment trial of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, the motion to vacate regarding Speaker Mike Johnson, and the Oversight Committee invite to President Biden.

Following his big fancy fundraiser in NYC Thursday, President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill will depart New York and head to Camp David. No word on whether the Easter Bunny will be shepherding Joe around this weekend...

MORNING MUSING

It's Good Friday. A brief Easter sentiment I shared a couple of years ago: 

During the Last Supper, Jesus gave His disciples this commandment: “Love each other. Just as I have loved you.” Whether you’ll be celebrating this Easter by going to church or getting together with family or friends, my prayer is that we all are reminded just how much we are loved.
