Cameron is an arrogant man who loves to boast, and who creates fictitious scenarios by employing writers and technology. Of course Obama wants him close; they are twins, separated at birth.

Those of us actually involved saw it all a lot differently. But, the screenplays are already being written. Maybe that’s what this is about; Cameron can be a big money guy for the Dems so they’re going to give him up close and personal views of the “Ecological Disaster of the Milenium.” Never mind that the millenium is only a decade old.

I’m thinking the real reason they’re bringing Cameron in is so that he can document how noble and intelligent the entire BamBam administration was during this whole crisis that captured the world’s imagination. Of course, it will have to be filmed in 3-D so that everyone can feel that they are right there with our governmental heroes when the film finally hits theaters just weeks after Barry saves the world.

And since it is in 3-D, you will be expected to shell out the additional $$$ for the privilege of seeing it. If you’re really lucky, perhaps there will be some clever marketing tie-in on the popcorn bucket and/or the commemorative cup that your beverage comes in. Maybe there will be an entree with some clever name just for the occasion in the theaters that offer dinner and a movie….

Cameron spent a big chunk of the time after Titanic and before Avatar filming the actual Titanic wreck, which is more than two times deeper than the spill.

Filming the spill is pretty crucial, especially now that everyone doubts the veracity of information coming from BP. If the federal government is to take over, the first thing they need to do is investigate and figure out exactly what type of spill and how many spill we are dealing with. Also filming will help determine if there are any plumes of oil suspended underwater as some scientists have suggested.

Cameron is successful because he knows how to make a profit. It is not because he knows how to stop oil spills. Obama, on the other hand, doesn’t know how to do either. He has made it clear that he is either unwilling or unable to stop the leak, and/or for BP to make any profit. Therefore, Obama has shown again that he called in the wrong man for the job.

On a side note, does the “P” in BP stand for the word “plus”? That is the grade that Obama gave himself way back when he was competent.
