New Tone: Union Thugs Assault Woman, Arbitrate ‘Badness’ of Jews, Berate Black Man

Yesterday, Massachusetts Democrat Representative Mike Capuano encouraged union members to go out in the streets and get a little bloody, as Guy Benson at TownHall reported earlier:

A Democratic Congressman from Massachusetts is raising the stakes in the nation’s fight over the future of public employee unions, saying emails aren’t enough to show support and that it is time to “get a little bloody.”

“I’m proud to be here with people who understand that it’s more than just sending an email to get you going. Every once and awhile you need to get out on the streets and get a little bloody when necessary,” Rep. Mike Capuano (D-Ma.) told a crowd in Boston on Tuesday rallying in solidarity for Wisconsin union members. …

This is not Capuano’s first brush with violent rhetoric. Last month Capuano said, “Politicians, I think are too bland today. I don’t know what they believe in. Nothing wrong with throwingcoffee cup at someone if you’re doing it for human rights.”

Firstly, oh, the irony in saying that throwing a coffee cup – at a human – is okay if it’s for human rights. Secondly, I suppose if throwing a coffee cup and “getting a little bloody” are just fine and dandy, it’s no surprise that union thugs decided that throwing phones and hitting a woman are just as proper. Oh, the new civility at work! (video after the jump)

The woman he hit was our own Tabitha Hale, also of Freedomworks. I know Tabitha personally and while I’m infuriated by her assault, most of all I’m so glad she is okay. Tabitha did not “ask for” this, as some on the left are saying. She did not “manufacture” this, as others are claiming. Tabitha, while a tough broad, is a tiny thing and a sweet thing who doesn’t go out looking for fights. She won’t back down from a confrontation, natch, but she doesn’t go looking for one. She’s thoughtful, insanely helpful, friendly and kind.

That matters not to the union thugs, however. For you see, she’s the wrong “kind” of woman. A vicious tea bagger, to boot! Tea Partiers and activists are always accused of being violent by the Left; it’s again a case of methinks they doth project too much. We aren’t the violent ones;  we are the recipients of violence. It’s totally cool to assault people and hit women, you see, if you think they are stupid and icky. You get a “civility” pass then. Tabitha is the wrong kind of woman to the CWA goon and her co-worker is the wrong kind of Jew, apparently.

A “Bad Jew.” For believing in freedom, liberty and free markets. For not agreeing with union thuggery. And for not hating Israel. The Left believes that they are the arbiters of what you should believe, especially if you are in a boxed up little group that they strive to keep in lockstep by creating a permanent victim class. This was exemplified earlier today by another union, SEIU, at a rally in Denver:

The SEIU supporters called him stupid and uneducated.  They called him “son.” They harassed him.  They asked him how he could vote against “his own best interest.”

In this clip an SEIU supporter asks the black Tea Partier, “Do you have any children that you claim?”

This man is one in a long line of people vilified by the Left for daring to have a mind of his own and not walking in lockstep with the false reality the Left has created. Tea Partiers are not only falsely accused of being violent, when in actuality they are the recipients of violence, but they are endlessly accused of being racist. But do you know what really is racist (the real kind, not the ™ kind )?

Attacking anyone of color for the simple act of thinking independently and assuming that all black people should think the same way.   Constantly implying – or in this instance outright saying – that he or she is a “race traitor” or stupid for actually looking at facts in a given situation and making their own judgment (people CAN do that, you know, lefties) based on those facts. That does not suit! We can’t have pesky free thinkers fouling up our identity politics boxes!

This is the Left. This is what they do. I wonder if Nancy Pelosi will work up any faux-tears over these assaults and this violence like she did when she was wringing hands at the unfounded mere thought of Tea Party violence. Which never happened, by the way. We have endured years of being called every vile name in the book, of being accused of heinous acts, of being compared to Nazis, of being demonized as violent, irrational racists and of being called accessories to mass murder.

While only peaceably assembling and attempting to redress our grievances. Victims of violence, not the aggressors.

Is this what President Obama meant by “I want you to argue with them and get in their faces?” Is this the new tone, same as the old tone? Civility, my arse.

Now we can understand why the leftists were so infatuated with the Egyptian protesters!

Unions claim the right to collective bargaining. This assumes everyone wants a union to bargain on their behalf. What about those who want the right to choose not to be a union member and whether a union represents them. Union rights seem to be so one sided. They want people forced to be unionists against their will. Their fees are extortion. Like the communists they are, they do not want people to have choice.
Questions: Do unions ever wonder why most workers want nothing to do with unions? Do they wonder why they are not strong outside the government sector? And are government workers so oppressed they need unions more than the private sector?

I heard Tabitha on a local radio show a few weeks ago, Pundit Review. I am glad she is okay.

If Capuano was a republican he’d be forced to resign. Do the dems enforce ethics like the Republicans do? I heard Speaker Boehner say he told them all to toe the line and be honorable.

Too bad we can’t say the same for dems. I wish the people in this state (MA) would wake up but I don’t think it will happen if it did not last year. He’s not my rep but mine is not much better.

Somehow I feel like we are not fighting fire with fire. We need to win this war, not lose with dignity.

While you can fight fire with fire (exhaust it) it is much easier to put it out by dousing it with cold water.

I will bring the ice cubes if you bring the bucket. LRU, Snark, and Tabitha can bring the water.

So explain to me: how does one freeze one’s opponent by making him live up to his own morals, if one’s opponent has no morals?

They genuinely don’t, you know. Have morals. It’s all for show.

In stark terms, Alinsky tactics are the tactics the devil uses to attack God. God cannot use Alinsky tactics back, because if He did, He would cease to be God. Fortunately, He does not have to.

Neither do we. We may eventually have to engage in real warfare to rid our free nation of these vicious miscreants who call themselves “progressive,” but it will never be necessary for us to become them.

God can do as he pleases, we are the ones who assume limitations on God and place them on ourselves. We do so at our peril.

Winning is everything to these people. They are fanatics to some degree, for whatever reason, for their cause and do not consider anyone who disagrees with them to be worthy of considerate behavior.

If they would mistreat you have choices:
Turn the other cheek. An often misunderstood parable meant to keep people from being mistreated by Roman occupiers by showing them that their violence means nothing etc. Not the best option when dealing with non-governmental bullies.

Treat them as they would treat you. Humiliate them, bring the law down upon their heads when it is on your side. If they hurt you hurt them back on the spot. Bullies cannot tolerate successful resistance. For some fanatics it takes literally the shock of being beaten down to make them reconsider their cause (for many though it won’t matter – that’s why they are called fanatics) for the rest of the country it will take the shock of violence from these people to jolt them out of their couches and into doing *anything* at all -whether it’s penning off letters to legislators/law enforcement or countering the “protesters” etc.

On an interesting side note – why not film them from a distance and compare the footage top what they show online? Just to sow the handful being made to look more powerful than they are etc.

Therefore, he can’t use Alinsky tactics because it is against his nature to lie, cheat, mislead, incite violence – take your pick. Therefore, for those of us who are Christians following that example, we can’t either. But that doesn’t mean we sit by and do nothing.

Get rid of the reaction and you get rid of the fire.

Some fires have to be fought with fire.
      Violence must not go unanswered.

Some have to be fought with water.
People need to have their passions cooled at times.

Some have to fought with non-reactive gases.
Get the core reasons for their actions nullified, take away their motive.

Some just have to be allowed to burn themselves out. Minimize your losses and move on.

      Pick one and act appropriately.

I don’t know about all this “ice” “fire” “water” and “buckets.” I was thinking mace and tasers.

find the name, address and phone number of the union puke who likes to push small women? We need to kill them with kindness and get their identities when they step out of line, and always have a second camera ready to catch the action.

    • http://pocketchangeproductions.net/ anotherindyfilmguy

Their names/address(or something close enough like neighborhood as in “james Blah of Wicklewoo) may show up in the local newspaper’s blotter report if it has one, depending on local laws about that sort of thing. Phonebooks can be used to track them down further. My local libraries also have a huge book for the county listing each property and who owns it/resides in it. Then there’s that internet thing…

Also many places have ordinances/laws etc where if demanded by law enforcement identification must be presented… ask your local law enforcement to document who is doing what and if they permits etc for their tresspassing etc…

While it is always better to wake up in the hospital than wake up dead, it is not always better to have to go there, instead of court, in the first place. Trust me, I

bring guns into it, What a brilliant Idea! Ya want to see a blood bath? You would sure have one. Don’t get started on that.

Go ahead and cower under the bed, never confronting reality, dialing 911 with trembling hands. It’s your life and you know what it’s worth. My point, my dear Horatio, is simply this: Why do these union thugs feel safe in acting the way they do? It couldn’t be because they know that they’re in a “Gun Free Zone” could it? A zone where the lawless are free to use muscle mass, billy clubs or worse because they know there are only “sheep” arrayed against them – no “sheep dogs” allowed. You remind me of the young girl brandishing

“I don’t own guns because I would use them.”

        I own plenty of guns.

An armed society is a polite society.
Never bring a knife to a gun fight.
The police have neither duty or responsibility to protect you.
You have the inalienable right to defend your life as is necessary to save it.
An act of self-defense is not an act of vigilantism, but …
… If you act in self-defense, be prepared to face whatever consequences the
state feels is necessary to disuade others from saving themselves.
All police states have disarmed their civilian populations.
You are unltimately responsible for your own safety.
Live in a state with no-retreat and castle laws.
Live in a state with shall-issue CCW laws.
Unfired guns prevent crime and save lives, but …
… If you draw your firearm without needing to use it, you have violated the CCW
law. Check local laws for details.
It is irresponsible not to be responsible for your own defense.
If you don’t feel safe somewhere, leave. This does not violate either the spirit or
purpose of no-retreat laws; it’s just common sense. But if you’re attacked and
in fear for you life … can you save it?
I can and have saved my life. I’m glad the incident went no further.
Be sure you report the incident to the police immediately. You don’t want them
coming after you as the perpetrator. If your attacker calls the police first and
reports you as armed and dangerous, you will have trouble if you didn’t call first.
    Be safe out there.
