Bill Maher: Obama should shoot someone in the foot

According to Bill “Short Bus” Maher, Obama is a disappointment because he isn’t acting like a “real black president.”

HBO’s Bill Maher: “I thought when we elected a black president, we were going to get a black president. You know, this [BP oil spill] is where I want a real black president. I want him in a meeting with the BP CEOs, you know, where he lifts up his shirt where you can see the gun in his pants. That’s — (in black man voice) ‘we’ve got a motherfu**ing problem here?’ Shoot somebody in the foot.”

Wow. Just wow. So “real black” men carry guns and shoot people in the foot to solve complicated engineering problems. If he shot the head of NASA in the knee I guess we’d be able to land on Mars.

Seriously, when is anyone going to start calling racists like Bill Maher and the people who laugh at his jokes what they are?

      If it weren’t for the commie networks, we’d only be able to watch Fox.

      We should keep a couple of the commie networks around just for some variety, but we’d all just remember to watch them for comedic value rather than actual news reporting. For instance, I LOVE watching MSNBC right after Sarah Palin makes some news. It is incredibly entertaining to watch those morons turn red in the face, and I am soooo hoping to see one of their heads literally explode one day while they are getting so bent out of shape bashing Palin.

    That is PRECISELY what has passed for governance in the “Chicago Way” White House. If you’ve heard the stories of what went on behind closed doors with the bank executives and the “bailout”, and with the rightful creditors in the GM/Chrysler takeovers, that’s how the Boy President does his thing.

    “I’m the only thing standing between you and the guys with pitchforks” is a threat identical to raising your shirt to show a gun in your belt.

    Maher’s not only a racist punk, but IQ-wise he’s somewhere above turnips but below green beans.

        The term “boy” was part of the racist lingo to refer to Black men back in the day. It’s one of those things that to this day still has some real negative connotation in parts of the country and is still a term that I do have personal problems with, but hey that’s just me and my upbringing.

        Not joining in with the commendation, just saying that the term “boy” when referring to any Black man has a loaded history that is not all that great.

    I don’t understand the phenomenon. He’s not even funny. I absolutely despise Bill Maher. He’s the most sick minded, bigoted, hateful man I’ve ever seen on TV. When the day comes that he meets his maker, I can only imagine that it’s not going to be a pretty event.

    I was when he had his cable show on the showtime network in the 80′s. There was a news story about a 16 year old school girl who had drowned in a hot tub when her hair got caught in the intake. Maher used the tragedy to work the word “sucked” into his routine – very edgy in the 80′s.

    If the death of a child is fair game for a cheap laugh to that horse’s ass, blatant racism is no problem for him. As he is of the anointed class, he can do no wrong.

    WOW. I’ll be the first to disregard any idiot whose problem with Obama is “He ain’t the right color!” But seriously? He SAID that? Wow. I’m flabbergasted.

    I disagree with Obama on probably every policy point you can think of, but nobody – but NOBODY – rags on MY President, no matter how much I disagree with his policies, because of his race. I think President Obama is 100% doing the wrong thing politically, but to HELL with Maher. You do NOT judge MY President of the United States of America because of his skin colour. End of story. Period. I will fight his agenda to kingdom come, but I will defend him qua POTUS as well.

    I do not think of President Obama as “America’s Black President.” I think of him as America’s President, even though I disagree strongly with his policies. Agendas be damned – NOBODY talks smack about MY President’s race like that.

    With the utmost respect to Redstate and its community, I have withheld from censoring my profanities, because I feel that strongly about this issue. Ban or suspend me if you must; I will not disagree. I dislike this President as much as any we’ve ever had – his liberal, secularist, socialist agenda and all – but I will NOT tolerate ridiculous racist remarks toward him, even from the left. Not for one second. I will fight Obama’s socialist agenda with every fibre of my body, but I will fight anyone who dares to smear my President – no matter how strongly I disagree with him – with racial talk.

    May Maher get what is coming to him.

        Our party is choke-full of honorable people like you, which is one reason why the accusations of racism and things we supposedly said on the day of the health care vote is infuriating. If there was any racist nonsense, it would have been immediately challenged by others nearby. The MSM and the left, however, continues to accuse us of racism, while they engage in projection of the very thing they denounce.         In response to AIFG above, although I’m not a psychologist or therapist, sometimes a response of laughter is actually a defense mechanism for shock and revulsion. I don’t think it applies in this case, but I’m often willing to give the benefit of doubt in regards to someone’s initial reaction to something offensive. The person telling the “joke,” however, get’s a swift denunciation from me.

    for Maher’s “racist” remarks. I mean, honestly, they could argue that Maher’s comments are a slap in the face of black people who are tired of being portrayed as criminals and thugs by the media, whether it is by a news organization or an entertainment venue.

    If I were a black American, I would be highly insulted by this idiot’s comments, especially since they were said in regards to the President of the United States…..
