Feminist icon Gloria Steinem says young women are supporting Democratic presidential wannabe Bernie Sanders for only one reason — to meet boys.
The outspoken Hillary Clinton supporter made the eyebrow-raising remark in a Friday night appearance on “Real Time with Bill Maher.”
Asked why the former secretary of state isn’t doing better among young women, Steinem said females typically don’t start taking politics seriously until they get older.
“When you’re young, you’re thinking, ‘Where are the boys?’ The boys are with Bernie,” Steinem added.
This is part of the strategy of the lumbering post-menopausal coprophagists that are boosting Hillary to convince younger women to vote for Hillary by insulting them. Yep. It doesn’t make much sense does it? Sort of like what our side is doing to Trump supporters, isn’t it? It is like Madeleine Albright, who is allegedly a woman, declaring that there is a “special place in Hell” for women who don’t vote for Hillary.
What is really ironic is that at one time Bernie Sanders was beloved of the feminist left. Back in 1996, Sanders was running against a woman, Republican Susan Sweetser, a state senator and a rape survivor and a woman who had devoted her life to helping other rape survivors. Gloria Steinem made the trip to Vermont to endorse Sanders
in fact, (at 15:45 on the video) she refers to him as an honorary woman.
For Steinem and Albright they are not advocating “feminism.” They are shills for the Democrat establishment trying to ensure their place at the trough is safe. The idea that a woman has to vote for a woman is bizarre and misogynist and insulting. When that woman is a liar and an unindicted felon it is even worse. Steinem was willing to through a proven female politician and rape survivor under the bus for a draft-dodging male socialist. Now she is disavowing her own decision.
