Somebody in the Clinton Family Should Care More About Her Health Than the Presidency

So just how feeble is Hillary Clinton?

As was pointed out by Brandon Morse this weekend, it seems there is a lot to worry about with the would-be first female president, and it’s not just her politics.

The Clinton machine keeps a tight grip on information coming out of the inner circle, in regards to Mrs. Clinton. The public can only speculate about the true state of her health, but there have been enough clues to tug at the hearts of more compassionate observers.

Another way to look at it is to say there’s enough evidence to suggest that a Hillary Clinton presidency would likely turn into some third world puppet show, where the actual president dies, but her advisors and cabinet hide it from the public for years, showing only old footage of her to the media and sending out multiple spokesmen to give her latest decree. Meanwhile, her decaying corpse is stored away in a freezer, at some secret location.

Was that morbid?

I apologize to the squeamish readers out there, but let’s give a brief overview of what we’re dealing with.

To begin with, Mrs. Clinton is almost 69 years old. She will be going into a high-stress, mentally and emotionally taxing job at a time when most seniors are either already retired or are about to retire. Much younger individuals have taken the job and emerged after a few years, gray-haired and haggard.

Then there are the coughing fits. Those are becoming all too regular when she speaks publicly. Is she really that congested, or is it a perpetual dry throat? It seems they could prepare for that.

Brandon’s earlier article pointed out what seems like some sort of seizure. Was it an actual seizure, or is she just goofy?

Maybe a little of both.

Then there are the falls, and she’s had lots of them, apparently.

In 2009, she fell and broke her elbow.

There was another fall as she boarded a plane in 2011. That one was caught on video. Some say she was drunk, and I’m sure the Clinton machine would likely prefer that to be the narrative, at this point.

Karl Rove put forth that in December of 2012 Mrs. Clinton had a fall so severe that it resulted in a concussion. That story seemed to be supported by an article from the New York Times that same year:

Mrs. Clinton, 65, was admitted to NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia hospital on Sunday after a scan discovered the blood clot. The scan was part of her follow-up care for a concussion she sustained more than two weeks earlier, when she fainted and fell, striking her head. According to the State Department, the fainting was caused by dehydration, brought on by a stomach virus. The concussion was diagnosed on Dec. 13, though the fall had occurred earlier that week.

The clot was potentially serious, blocking a vein that drains blood from the brain. Untreated, such blockages can lead to brain hemorrhages or strokes. Treatment consists mainly of blood thinners to keep the clot from enlarging and to prevent more clots from forming, and plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration, which is a major risk factor for blood clots.

This past weekend, pictures began circulating on social media of another fall from February of this year.

Clinton defenders quickly blew off the questions over her health by insisting that she simply “slipped.”

That may be true. It may have been as simple as a slip, but the fact that an older woman slipped going up a short flight of stairs and had to be bodily hauled up those same stairs should be concerning.

As the grown daughter of elderly parents – not much older than Clinton, actually – I take a special interest in these reports.

The blood clot reported earlier may be something that is recurring, and shouldn’t be taken lightly. She may be suffering from Transient ischemic attacks (TIA), more commonly known as “mini strokes.” They are brief in occurrence, but can be a warning of something more serious to come.

Somebody in that Clinton family should care more about her than power, but given the history of the clan, I don’t see that happening.
