Or updating the info on their friends’ profiles?

Sorry. I couldn’t resist.

According to NBC, Russia is compiling a dossier on Trump’s psychological makeup.

A senior Kremlin adviser describing the dossier to NBC said Trump is a “risk-taker” who can be “naïve.”

The story also quotes former Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Fedorov on the record. He tells NBC the effort is aimed at giving Putin more information on Trump before they meet, and that the psychological portrait is focused on Trump’s behavior in recent months.

It’s a smart move, on Russia’s part, which is why we could be in trouble.

I would have to think that part of that dossier includes the words, “impulsive” and “easily swayed by compliments.”

President Trump, since long before the election, has exhibited a far more charitable attitude towards Russia than any other president.

This is even after U.S. intelligence says that Russia attempted to sway the election by hacking into emails of the Democratic National Committee and Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta.

Former Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov said Russia is nervous about Trump

“Absolutely not — not laughing,” Mikhail Kasyanov said. “The situation is very serious and the whole of [Putin’s] team, they are nervous.”

And they may be.

Trump insists that he will be tough on Russia, but talks of lifting sanctions on Russia have already been floated, according to various sources.

Honestly, the idea that Russian intelligence may be putting together a psychological profile of Trump, in order to better understand how to approach him should make a lot of Americans nervous.

Trump’s psyche is put on display, daily, for the whole world to see, via his Twitter account. We can surmise that this Russian dossier is not for the purpose of a more peaceful and secure America.
