Ted Nugent Wades Into the Fray With Parkland Survivors (Just Stop)

This was a bad idea, Ted.

Old school rocker and NRA board member, Ted Nugent, isn’t running for any office. He’s not hosting any TV shows, or otherwise doing anything where he has to worry about ratings.

That being said, going after Parkland kids is just a bad idea, even if they are being completely annoying.

To be clear, the David Hogg-led faction of Parkland school shooting survivors is obnoxious and wrong, on so many details.

Hogg has been a willing tool of the left, an impressionable mind being used to batter the pro-Second Amendment crowd.

He’s abrasive and arrogant, reveling in his youthful ignorance, uttering words of such disrespect, that were he any other kid, his dad would have stepped in and gave him a good smack, by now.

The overall drive by the Parkland anti-guns movement is based in a lack of knowledge, and all emotion.

Nugent targeted the group on Friday night.

“To attack the good law-abiding families of America when well known predictable murderers commit these horrors is deep in the category of soulless,” Nugent said Friday on Newsmax’s “The Joe Pags Show” of the high school students who have taken center stage on the fight for gun control.

“These poor children, I’m afraid to say this, and it hurts me to say this, but the evidence is irrefutable, they have no soul,” he added.

First of all, I don’t think he was that pained to say it.

Second of all, they’re not soulless. No one is.

And I don’t think you know what that word, “irrefutable” means.

They’re being misled by adults with an agenda. Their trauma is being weaponized. Let’s keep it in perspective, here, Ted.

He did go on to point out that mainstream liberal media, as well as academia are feeding the kids the lies and faulty reasoning they so eagerly regurgitate.

In recent days, others who have made far less incendiary remarks about the Parkland survivors have found themselves targeted for ruin.

Fox News personality Laura Ingraham has seen an exodus of sponsors from her program, after she made a comment on David Hogg’s complaints of not getting accepted into the colleges of his choice.

Will this come back to bite Nugent?

Probably not, because, as I said, he’s doing nothing that they can immediately affect.

Still, don’t give these opportunists any more ammunition for their attacks.

Anything outside of very reasoned, calm, and factual responses to them will only be used against the rest of us.

Saying they have no souls is as emotional as saying NRA members don’t care about having blood on their faces.

Hyperbole does not help our cause.
