Shocker! Big Pharma paying docs big bucks
New research by ProPublica shows that Big Pharma is paying docs hundreds of millions of dollars to pitch their product. Seven companies have now disclosed their payout information (only 36% of pharmaceutical companies). Those 7 companies doled out $257.8 million to about 17,700 providers from the beginning of 2009 through June of 2010. Time for Payback on Obamacare
Lest we forget, a lot of innocent people were left out in the cold when their purported elected leaders in the private sector sold them out in favor of personal gain (I assume) and their support of Obamacare. A PSA for Democratic party strategists.
Six months from now, when it becomes clear that your party’s attempt to fuel class warfare among the American citizenry has failed, and you need to assign blame… do consider this? It’s not precisely smart to assume that the same people that you’ve spent the last year targeting with a crude sexual innuendo are going to happily fall into line when you start thundering pseudo-populist | Read More »

Don’t be afraid to click on it and listen – this is the sweetest thing you’ll hear all night. It’s amazing that he has come to the point of antagonizing his own party and supporters just as much as he does us. | Read More »

Just follow these easy steps! Create AKPD Message & Media, a public relations company that specializes in astroturfing. Attach yourself to the campaign of the candidate that eventually wins the 2008 Presidential election. Disengage yourself from AKPD Media, but under circumstances where the company ‘owes’ you 2 million dollars, which it will then pay back over time (we call this ‘income’). I wonder whether PhRMA cut those ad checks yet?
I do have to wonder whether they have or not, given that the President is apparently changing the deal that the pharmaceutical companies made with the government (cap the pharma industry’s costs from health care rationing at 80 billion over ten years, get 150 million contributed to pro-rationing ad blitzes), presumably on the grounds that of course the administration knew nothing about this ahead of | Read More »
