Perry loses the debate; Romney wins but remains unacceptable for conservatives.

Substantively, Perry looked as bad as he ever has with Romney coming out the winner. This is a huge problem for conservatives. Rick Perry is on the cusp of becoming the consensus candidate that Romney isn’t. He is tea-party and establishment. He | Read More »

By: Neil Stevens (Diary) | June 30th at 08:00 AM |
So Fox News put out a new poll of the race for the Republican Presidential nomination. It’s a typical poll in many ways, but Fox’s bit of analysis got me to thinking: Polls like this favor frontrunners and likely skew the race.

By: Steve Maley (Diary) | June 17th at 01:00 PM |
The speakers for Day 1 of the Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans included luminaries such as Mike Huckabee, Michael Williams, and Ted Cruz, along with our own Erick Erickson. The Horse Race for This Week
By: Erick Erickson (Diary) | May 19th at 03:04 PM |

Feel free to disagree. I’m just giving you my honest take on where I see the 2012 horse race right now. Last week I took a bit of heat from Dan | Read More »

It’s that time boys and girls — that time where I tell you what I really think and you can all hate me for daring to say something critical about your preferred candidate. Here’s how I think the 2012 race is shaping up by candidate, in alphabetical order.
