Via Ed Driscoll comes something I hadn’t considered: Susan Rice as National Security Advisor means that Barack Obama thinks that he can claim executive privilege to keep her from testifying. A Google News search on ["Susan Rice" "executive privilege"] (typed exactly as indicated between brackets) returns two stories. The main one is at Fox News, where K.T. McFarland pointed out that President Obama, now that | Read More »
This afternoon President Obama will announce that Tom Donilon will be departing as National Security Adviser in early July and will be succeeded by United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice. What does Eric Holder really think of his fellow Americans? It’s a rhetorical question. I can’t read his mind and smut is not my thing. What does the average American Leftist really believe about Americans with whom they disagree? If Dr. Sternberg accurately pegged The Modern Left; perhaps this clip from The Matrix provides us the answer (Start at 1:55). Take out the words “Human Beings” and substitute “Conservatism” or “Conservative” instead, and you will see what Modern Liberals truly think of Modern Conservatives as human beings.
If you willing continue to compromise with those who believe that you are a virus, do not expect your life to substantially get any better any time soon. If you think well of those who consider you a cockroach, do you not admit to the universe that they are your masters? Within the limits of law and reason, we must oppose, defang, and destroy every functioning liberal that we can possibly get our hands on.
Well, well, well. It turns out that UN Ambassador and prospective Secretary of State nominee Susan Rice (she’s a multimillionaire, by the way) has some rather interesting financial ties to numerous foreign energy companies that still do business with that oppressive, misogynistic, homophobic, and downright barking mad insane regime currently controlling Iran. The most interesting one of those is Royal Dutch Shell, which has about | Read More »
Thomas Ricks, author of The Generals, recently appeared on Fox News to discuss the Benghazi terror attack and ostensibly to shed light on his book that has been slipping in sales. Ricks, however, had his own agenda and | Read More »
Susan Rice, Obama’s ambassador to the United Nations, appeared on several of the Sunday morning news shows and mislead the American people by claiming the vicious attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens, was unplanned and provoked only by an anti-Islam video. On CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Libya’s head of state, Mohamed Yusuf al-Magariaf, president of Libya’s | Read More »
The reason why ‘spontaneous demonstration’ is so appealing an answer for the Obama administration is because that answer absolves them of having to take most of the responsibility for letting the attacks succeed. A genuinely spontaneous reaction to something that the administration didn’t actually do would be legitimately impossible to predict and hard to defend against, and people do know that. On the other hand, if the attack was premeditated, then the questions become Why didn’t the Obama administration catch this ahead of time? and Why wasn’t the Obama administration prepared for trouble? And the reasons why those questions are problematical is because they’re the same questions that Democrats asked the Bush administration, in the aftermath of 9/11. And the Democrats were notably contemptuous of the Bush administration’s answers, back then.
GOP Presidential Candidate Newt Gingrich gave a speech in Nashville, TN. In this speech he addressed what he felt America should do about the current situation in Afghanistan. We are not going to fix Afghanistan. It is not possible,” Gingrich said. “These are people who have spent several thousand years hating foreigners. And what we have done by staying is become the new foreigners. “This | Read More »

You and I both know that anytime you have a war, innocent civilians get killed. But Barack Obama told us this is not a war. This is just a kinetic military action. The whole reason we are in Libya is to stop innocent civilians from being killed. It is the raison d’être of Susan Rice, Samantha Powers, and Hillary Clinton. They wanted to stop a | Read More »
