When conservatives and other concerned Americans say, "The enemy is already here," believe them.
This fact was made abundantly clear Tuesday when the town of North Andover, Massachusetts, allowed the "Palestinian" flag — AKA, the red, white, black, and green symbol of antisemitism — to be raised with the American flag on the common town flag pole.
It's an ugly sight.

What makes this whole farce worse is that the North Andover town council had passed a resolution in October restricting flag-flying to "governmental speech." Meaning this can be seen as the elected officials of an American town sanctioning the flying of the pro-Hamas symbol on their town's common flag pole. This isn't Dearborn, Michigan; this is a quaint New England town.
Visually, it's appalling. Seeing the stars and stripes — along with the beloved POW/MIA flag — being desecrated by the inclusion of a terrorist flag is a sight that should never be seen in this country. This act is a shameful mark that will forever stain this town, and an act that will not soon be forgotten.
In reaction to the ugly image, Rabbi Idan Irelander remarked, “It’s a big deal for us to see the Palestinian flag that many of us think represents the attempted genocide of the Jewish people. It basically represents Hamas, since they are the elected ruling party in Gaza.” That's putting it mildly.
Here's what the town of North Andover is supporting by allowing this propaganda to fly over their town:
- The eradication of Israel
- The massacre of Israeli families
- The kidnapping of babies and grandmothers
- The raping of young women attending a peace concert
- The destruction of Western values
You have to wonder what the people who stood in support of the terrorist flag being raised over their town think about the fact that one of their own, a three-year-old American whose parents were brutally murdered on October 7, is now being held by Hamas as a human shield. While an orphaned toddler is being held captive in Gaza, one participant in the flag-raising ceremony made it pretty clear how he feels:
One flag-raising supporter whined, “It is not a terrorist flag, and we will not let it be misconstrued that way.”
North Andover is a town of around 30,000 people, predominantly white, where the median income is $120,000. Where wealthy white liberals gather, destructively bad ideas are bound to follow.
Video of the flag raising shows that those who support this foolish act are exactly what you'd expect: graying white people who loathe the country that enabled them to live in their nice, comfortable liberal bubble. It's not a stretch to imagine that the college kids who are calling for the deaths of their "Jew pig" classmates and the oh-so-sophisticated urban dwellers whose favorite pastime is now to rip down posters of Israeli hostages are the offspring of North Andover's finest. They are the enemy, and they are already here.
The shameful display of pro-Hamas propaganda will be allowed to go on through December 7.
