    four years ago when the economy was just starting to really tank.

    I said that I doubted the Euro would last long because the economic positions and the interests of the European nations was just to different.

    He laughed at me and shook his head like I was some village idiot.

    Wonder if he is still laughing.

    I worked with Europeans through the creation of the Euro, and still work with them every day. Not a single one (The two Greeks, the Swede, the Dutchman, the Spaniard, the Italian, and even the Englishman!) questions the existance of the Euro-Zone. They are conviced it will still make them the dominate world economic power. Delusional, but very certain in their delusion. But the Englishman remains adamantly opposed to joining the Euro-Zone.
