Democrats Aren't The Only Problem

Many conservatives believe the tipping point has tipped – that a majority of Americans are either ill-informed, uneducated, delusional, foolish, feel entitled or are just plain lazy to the point where they will continue to vote for the Party or candidate they feel will give them more and more free stuff. Young kids espousing socialism over capitalism; rich liberals with their guilt and hypocrisy about how and why we got where we are; minority groups who have been convinced they’ll never survive without help from the government; and rabid, single issue pro-abortion voters have been organized and motivated to keep the Federal pig trough flowing.

But it wasn’t without the help of Republicans.

Remember it was not that long ago that George W. Bush was in the White House with a Republican majority in both the House and the Senate. Did they eliminate the departments of Education, Energy, Agriculture, anything? How about the budget – was it cut? Did we reduce the deficit, even when you put the cost of the wars aside, did we do anything about spending or reforming entitlements? The answer is a big fat no. In fact, Republicans in the House, Senate and White House spent like there was no tomorrow and actually created new entitlements!

Combine that with two wars and whether you agree with them or not, the stage was set for the Pelosi coup in 2006 and Obama’s in 2008. People may be disgusted with Democrats, but at least they know who they are. Who are Republicans? They say they’re for limited government, but when they had the chance, what happened – anything but. All Republicans had to do was be good stewards of the economy, put into motion some simple steps in entitlement reform, blast apart the Taliban and then get the hell out and we’d still be in the majority. There – I’m a rocket scientist.

If the Bush years opened up Pandora’s Box when it comes to spending and snooping, then Barack Obama has blown the Box up. It took the Tea Party to step in and at least stop the bleeding in 2012, hoping the Republicans would grow a pair and at a minimum defund ObamaCare; and in a perfect world, field a candidate in 2012 that would flush these Chicago Thugs, Marxists and Traitors out of our system for a couple decades… Whoops. Way to go establishment guys ‘n gals. Trying to get the Republicans in the ruling class to do something right has been pointless for the past three years. We’re like the outsiders trying to get the Varsity cheerleader to go out with us. We can tell you don’t like us, you know – we’re standing right here. Boehner, Cantor, Graham, McCain, McConnell, etc.; you’ll take our support but you despise having to kowtow to us hayseeds in order to not get primaried. Well guess what – the Party’s over. Your version of the Party, anyway…

The Republican Party keeps trying to appease different groups of people and hopes to gain votes, retain seats. They pay lip service only to principles they say they represent but are doing everything they can to be like democrats and maintain or gather more power. They’re Democratic “light”, except, instead of being “less filling” they’re full of crap. Thanks to little resistance by our current Republican leadership, we’re living in a soft tyranny where the IRS denies conservatives their First Amendment rights; the Attorney General runs guns to drug cartels in a scam to erode our Second Amendment rights; and the NSA is doing who knows what with every American’s phone calls, emails, texts, whatever – unless you’re in a Mosque, of course – then your Fourth Amendment is safe, friendo.

This immigration/amnesty bill is a perfect example of what I mentioned above, with top Republicans in the Senate and in the House saying we need to pass this bill to curry favor with Latinos so they can get one of their guys in the Whitehouse. But pandering doesn’t work, Senator Rubio, sorry. It didn’t help Bush the elder after the ’87 Amnesty and it isn’t going to help now as we’re about to import 10-30 million more Democrat voters. He may have made a bad mistake, but at least Ronald Reagan had the balls to call it what it is: A-M-N-E-S-T-Y. The bill back then had conditions too, just like you say this “Gang of Eight” version has. You have to learn English, pay a fine, the border has to be secured, blah, blah, blah – but guess what? That part never happens and unless we seal off our border, more hordes of illegal immigration will continue and the Republican Party will go the way of the Whigs. In 2012, Barack Obama won by 3-4 million votes. If we let even the laughable estimate of 11 million new Democrat votes in and the Chicago machine won’t even have to be plugged in to win. Ever.

You think Hillary Clinton will be any different? Did you forget about Craig Livingstone, the lackey Hillary Clinton hired in the 90’s who magically got hold of FBI background checks of former White House Republicans? This is our next president I’m talking about if Marco Rubio has anything to do with it. Republicans could have exposed her on Benghazi for the incompetent, corrupt, liable and even lying Secretary of State when she testified. It would possibly have even scuttled her chances in 2016, but not only did they not pin her down on anything, they didn’t even swear her in so she couldn’t be held in contempt or be charged with perjury anyway. WTF? Republicans are scared of her, just like they’ve been scared of Black Jesus for the past five years.

Personally, I would much rather maintain my integrity and fail then become what I was fighting against.
