Mike Lindell Says His Company Has Taken a Serious Hit and Donald Trump Could Help in a Unique Way

Occasionally I come upon a story that I think I want to write about, and then I get distracted and wander back to it at some point, and this story about MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is one of those examples. Lindell has truly laid it on the line for his friend Donald Trump, and it has been a very interesting dynamic to watch.

Lindell has been in the news continuously since the election of 2020 due to his unwavering support of the former president and current GOP frontrunner for the '24 nomination.

He has appeared all over the country on behalf of Trump, supporting his argument that he actually won the 2020 election. Lindell has also done a couple of internet live streams where he has tried to provide evidence to back up the claim that both he and Trump believe that fraud occurred during that election.

We have covered Lindell a lot here at RedState; my colleague Nick Arama penned this recently: WATCH: Mike Lindell Lets Loose When Dominion Employee Lawyer Dares to Question Quality of His Pillows

Thou shall not mock the pillows or call them lumpy.

Lindell said he's "lost everything" and called the attorney "evil."

But when the attorney referred to "lumpy pillow calls," that's when Lindell really let him have it, and the video of the exchange has gone viral with millions of views. I think it would be fair to say that you don't usually hear someone let loose like this in a deposition.

Lindell continued...

“No, they’re not lumpy pillows, that’s not what they call on,” Lindell said. “When you say lumpy pillows, now you’re an a***hole, you got that? You’re an a**hole, is what you are.”

Lindell's attorney off camera then tried to stop his client, but Lindell was not going to be checked on that. “No, he’s an a**hole. He’s an ambulance-chasing a**hole. That's what you are.” Lindell proclaimed.

“Lumpy pillows, kiss my a**! Put that in your book!" Lindell declared. Lindell said he wanted to hear about any complaints and deal with them. He explained that they did what they could to make people whole, even if the problem complained about wasn't their fault -- if it was a problem like Fed Ex not delivering it.

"Nobody calls because of a lumpy pillow,” he said telling the attorney that he "obviously" didn't have a My Pillow. "You don't do ya?" Lindell said. "A**hole."

So I was mildly shocked recently when I heard that Lindell was claiming some extraordinary losses, which I read about right here

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has claimed the company "lost $100 million" after major retailers stopped stocking its products in response to his vocal support for the discredited conspiracy theory that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Donald Trump.

Due to its difficult financial situation, the company is currently selling hundreds of pieces of surplus equipment on the online auction site K-Bid, and subleasing manufacturing space.

Trump is continuing to insist the 2020 presidential contest was rigged against him, despite the claim being repeatedly rejected in court and by independent and even Republican-leaning legal experts. Special Counsel Jack Smith is investigating whether Trump broke the law in his bid to overturn the election, including his role in the January 6, 2021, storming of Congress by Trump supporters.

Speaking to the Minnesota-based newspaper Star Tribune, Lindell said MyPillow was hit with a "massive, massive cancellation" after his election fraud claims.

Now I think it's safe to say that we have all seen the playbook on how the left likes to roll into cancel culture on anyone or any company that they feel is harmful to their beliefs. I have zero doubt that Mike Lindell fits this category and that they would absolutely throw the kitchen sink at him.

I'll leave it to other people to argue how big his loss could possibly have been, but we know that he's a high-value target, and he and his business absolutely have been hurt by his association with the former 45th president of the United States.

Yet Donald Trump could do something short of writing a check to help Lindell stem some of his losses, and he could do it this evening.

How? He could just go and promote MyPillow each and every time he goes to a campaign rally, or he could even cut a commercial for Lindell and not charge him a dime and declare that the former 45th president of the United States loves MyPillow.

That's one thing that Donald Trump could do, and it would be very easy for him to accomplish this ASAP.

Simply announce to the whole globe that all the Trump hotels around the world will be using MyPillow, which is owned by his close personal friend Mike Lindell. Now I'm not exactly sure how many hotels are under the Trump flag here in the United States or around the the world, but I would imagine that if he were to announce that MyPillow was in his properties, that would be a huge boost to Lindell.

This decision could literally be done in a couple of days and phased in over the next couple of months and would be a huge boost in the arm to one of Trump's biggest benefactors.

As we have seen, lots of people are willing to lay down on the railroad track for Donald Trump and get run over, so it would be a nice change of pace if Trump gave a hat tip by supporting a business that makes a product that his properties would happily use.

Let's see if it happens.
