As Erick Erickson asked earlier today, "Why would the GOP vote to fund something that harms so many?"
Senator Marco Rubio is one of 15 Republican Senators who have pledged not to vote for any continuing resolution that funds Obamacare. In the video above, he gives his reasons why.
Obamacare has yet to take effect, yet it should be abundantly clear to anyone with a pulse that among its many flaws, the abominable law gives employers an incentive to shift workers from full-time to part-time status.
Supposedly, G. W. Bush's Administration only created "burger-flipper" jobs. Now, I never bought that argument, because 1) we all have to start somewhere (I started as a burger-flipper); B) all work has dignity; and III) any job is better than no job at all.
Now, under the guise of a health care fix, we've been sold a system that will convert legions of full-time burger-flippers with benefits into part-time burger-flippers with bupkis.
If your Republican Senator is on the fence, call and urge them to join the 15.
