Yesterday, I wrote about the murder of college student Mollie Tibbetts and the Left’s refusal to discuss it, partly due to the fact that the 24-year-old suspect in the case is an illegal immigrant (please read that article here).

Speaking of:

Allan M. Richards, attorney for the accused, filed a gag order Wednesday that would prohibit use of the term “illegal alien” in court.

Good grief.

The Mexican native — who’s been in the country for seven years — has confessed to abducting Tibbetts while she was jogging in Brooklyn, Iowa. He claims to have blacked out during the murder, which, according to authorities, was committed with one or more sharp objects.

President Trump addressed the atrocity Tuesday at a rally in West Virginia:

“You heard about today with the illegal alien coming in, very sadly, from Mexico, and you saw what happened to that incredible, beautiful young woman. Should’ve never happened. Illegally in our country. We’ve had a huge impact, but the laws are so bad. The immigration laws are such a disgrace. We’re getting them changed, but we have to get more Republicans. We have to get ’em.”

The gag order claims Trump’s comments could “poison the entire possible pool of jury members.” Richards also couldn’t resist taking a jab at the President:

“Sad and sorry Trump has weighed in on this matter in national media which will poison the entire possible pool of jury members.”

Personally, I think the sad and sorry person is the man who murdered Mollie Tibbetts. And the pathetic person — for attacking the President’s character as he represents a confessed murderer — is Allan M. Richards.
