She's Back: Hillary Clinton Decries Russian Election Theft & Reminds Us She Can't be Goldilocks

Like Jason, Freddie, and Michael Myers, she’s back — Hillary Clinton has resurfaced, and she’s all fired up.

Oh — and she’s still not taking any responsibility for her 2016 loss to Trump, in any way, whatsoever. At all. None. Like here, herehere, and here.

Speaking on Wondery.com’s TBD with Tina Brown podcast, the would-be president waxed philosophic on a number of issues, among them the Mueller investigation (surprise!) and the darned Russians who kept her from her rightful place as World Ruler (double surprise).

As for Mueller:

“There hasn’t really been that kind of solemn, somber laying of facts and information before the public and the press that should happen in our democracy. There is enough grounds in what has already been made public for the government for Congress, in particular, to be doing more with [the Mueller report]. I’m pleased that under Speaker Pelosi, the Democrats are beginning to hold hearings and try to connect some of these dots.”

It should be noted that the Mueller investigation — though still unfruitful — seemingly promises to last as long as cockroaches and the Rolling Stones. Nothin’ can kill it.

As noted by The Daily Wire, NBC reports the the DOJ has conducted approximately 200 interviews. And yet: no cigar.

Take it away, Sen. Richard Burr, courtesy of CBS News:

“If we write a report based upon the facts that we have, then we don’t have anything that would suggest there was collusion by the Trump campaign and Russia.”

But Hillary wants Trump outta there. After all: It’s his sinister, election-stealing cahoots with Russia that kept the Chairman-Mao fashionista from Marxist Big Cheese Glory. Just like ol’ Barack. Hillary’s basically an extension of his goodness:

“I mean, I obviously had hired a lot of Obama’s people. They were incredibly able; they did a great job, but Trump, the Russians, Cambridge Analytica, all of his assorted allies, were running a campaign in an entirely different arena. I don’t think I or my people understood that, you know, we would see a little pop-up story that some idiot says that Pope Francis endorsed Donald Trump. Who is going to believe that, how ridiculous.”

Hmmm…”ridiculous.” Reminds me of this, this, this, this, and this.

Hill threw in a blame on that worst of coolness’s enemies — men. Due to all the misogyny, how can women come across as likable?

“This is still a problem for women on the public stage. How does a woman stand up for herself on the biggest stage in the world without, number one, looking aggressive, maybe a little bit angry, that somebody is behaving like that, being willing to go toe to toe when there are so few memories embedded in our collective DNA where women do that? So yes, I’m willing to stand up for what I believe in, but that is still kind of scary for some people. So how do you get on this kind of Goldilocks path where you’re not too strong and you’re not too weak, you’re not too aggressive and you’re not too passive?”

One thing’s for sure: She wasn’t able to find that balance. But she’ll never admit that, which is why — it seems to me — she’ll have a hard time ever being Goldilocks. As opposed to GoldiLockHerUp.
