For those of you who have — in the words of the Rolling Stones — “sympathy for the devil,” here’s a link:
That’s so you can purchase Satan a fur coat — though I’m not sure Prime delivers to hell.
And yes, it’s a man’s garment. If there’s one thing we know about the Master of Evil, it’s that he’s most certainly male.
The reason for your benevolence? Hell has frozen over — Donald Trump has come to the defense of Nancy Pelosi.
I guess the eccentric billionaire is far more gracious than he’s been given credit for.
In his defense, though, he was using it to lambaste Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Speaking to reporters Friday, The Donald slammed AOC and crew due to shots fired toward the House Majority Leader in their feud which purportedly began with Tlaib, Ocasio-Cortez, Omar, and Pressley refusing to endorse the $4.6 billion Pelosi-supported border bill (see more here).
It should also be noted, however, that — generally — fights don’t start with something such as the above. I assume there was contention brewing before the vote.
“I deal with Nancy Pelosi a lot and we go back and forth and it’s fine, but I think that a group of people is being very disrespectful to her. And you know what? I don’t think that Nancy can let that go on.”
I believe he’s right.
Nancy seems made of steel. And despite the negative press over the ordeal, she made clear Thursday: “Regrets is something I don’t do” (here).
The President grazed something with which I agree: Alexandria isn’t very respectful toward others in Congress, including those much, much older and more experienced than she.
I’ve said it before — it’s as if someone is whispering into her ear: “Pssst. You just magically know everything, despite the fact that you know nothing. Embrace the magic. Tell everyone how everything is. Save the world with the stuff you (don’t in any way, shape, or form) know.”
Nancy ain’t much for it.
And Alexandria is really testing her.
As the 29-year-old explained to The Washington Post:
“When these comments first started, I kind of thought that she was keeping the progressive flank at more of an arm’s distance in order to protect more moderate members, which I understood. But the persistent singling out…it got to a point where it was just outright disrespectful … the explicit singling out of newly elected women of color.”
“[Alexandria] should treat Nancy Pelosi with respect. She should not be doing what she’s doing.”
And Pelosi may be a lot of things; but, if you ask the Leader of the Free World, a racist isn’t one:
“And I’ll tell you something about Nancy Pelosi that you know better than I do: She is not a racist, okay? She is not a racist. For them to call her a racist is a disgrace.”
So there ya go — it’s snowing in hell. The head Republican defended the head Democrat. In Washington. In America.
But I was just kiddin’ about sending Lucifer a coat over Trump’s comments. It was, of course, a ruse. As we all know — because we’ve been told for over three years — Donald Trump is the devil.
