In reality, of course, everyone says and does boneheaded things. Additionally, Republican remarks routinely lack the racism alleged by the mainstream media.

But people who only know what they see on MSNBC or hear from their Democratic friends often have an absurd impression of the cartoonishly evil GOP, contrasted against the halo-havin’ cherubs across the aisle.

That bubble’s easily and often popped by YouTube switcharoo exhibits asking people their thoughts on comments by wrongly-labeled Democratic officials.

The latest in a series of such videos by the Daily Caller News Foundation reveals folks being questioned about Donald Trump’s “racist” comments on Baltimore. Afterward, they’re told they came from the mouth of their Rich Uncle Bernie (here).

Here’s the quote at issue:

“The fact of the matter is that America is the wealthiest country in the history of the world. But anyone who took the walk that we took around this (Baltimore) neighborhood would not think that you were in a wealthy nation. You would think that you were in a third world county.”

Say it ain’t so!

For some reason, there are those who currently think it’s unacceptable to point out Baltimore’s problems. For more on that ultra-goofiness, see here and here.

Lo, inexplicably, if Donald Trump says negative things about Balt-…aw, let’s be honest — if he says negative things about anyth-…alright, let’s get down to abject accuracy: If the President says anything at all, it’s magically racist (see more here).

Check out the responses in the video.

Among some in the clip, Bernie’s racistin’ it up, too.

It’s incredible that the media could somehow manufacture and successfully sell the asinine notion that criticizing Baltimore in particular is unacceptable. And all in order to castigate Trump. There’s a lot of magic going on. A lot of magic, indeed.
