In commemoration of the ghastly September 11th attacks on New York, a terrorist leader is calling for Muslims to assault the United States, Europe, Israel, and Russia.

Al Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri has managed to evade capture for 18 years, but his love of unique hats hasn’t waned:

Neither, apparently, has his zeal for murder.

In a new 33-minute video — which was intercepted by multiple intelligence agencies — he condemns those revolutionaries who’ve gone soft, including terrorists who have “reformed” while in jail. The same goes for any who’ve lamented the 9/11 attacks’ victimization of innocents.

But if an aspiring warrior would prefer to exclude civilian targets, al-Zawahiri has some advice — as reported by CBS News:

“If you want Jihad to be focused solely on military targets, the American military has presence all over the world, from the East to the West. Your countries are littered with American bases, with all the infidels therein and the corruption they spread.”

The sixty-seven-year-old ascended to power after Osama bin Laden was neutralized by Navy SEALs in May of 2011; according to Fox News, he — like ISIS chief Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi — carries a $25 million dollar bounty on his head.

He’s believed to be presently hiding out in the border region of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

As per Fox, though ISIS has taken centerstage as of late, Al Qaeda is still a a very real and looming threat:

[The terrorist group] has been quietly curating a revived global game plan that will likely prove far more resilient and lethal.

It’s believed the jihadist organization currently boasts 40,000 members worldwide.

But President Trump has a message also — for any would-be militants interested in attacking the Land of Liberty.

In a speech at the Pentagon Wednesday, he made things very clear:

“If anyone dares to strike our land, we will respond with the full measure of American power and the iron will of the American spirit. And that spirit is unbreakable.”

“[W]e will go wherever they are, he said. “And use power the likes of which the United States has never used before, and I’m not even talking about nuclear power. They will never have seen anything like what will happen to them.”

Quite the difference, compared to President Obama’s former presentation. And a difference, perhaps, most Americans prefer.

Stay vigilant, America.
