If you’ve seen much TV lately, you know rioting is right on. Break things, take things, shake things up — you might even make the news.

Well, welcome to the trickle down.

In Memphis Saturday, the world got a look at today’s revolutionary repercussion.

As reported by NBC Tampa Bay, parents dropped off groups of teens at the Putt-Putt Fun Center (that’s mini golf for the uninitiated) for a bit of the ol’ good clean fun.

But soon, the party place had a pressing problem: There were too many young skulls full o’ mush.

Too great a number — that is — according to Elvistown’s COVID compliance commands.

The crowd had grown to 300-400, and soon they’d be all shook up.

For reasons unreported by WFLA, staff shut the joint down but refused to issue refunds.

That’s social injustice, so here we go…

Take it away, kids — do what you’ve seen the grown-ups do:

News8 narrates:

In the video, a girl who appears to be a teenager can be seen tearing apart a plexiglass divider.

She then throws the divider along with metal rope stands across a counter, where employees are standing.

The employees dodge every item coming at them.

Moments later, the young girl was seen spitting at another worker.

Feel familiar?

The Fun Center’s GM — Aaron Boss — released a statement of incredulity noting the times:

“Unfortunately, yesterday evening we had an incident that we have never experienced in 57 years of business. Parents chose to leave large groups of teenagers at our facility without their supervision.  Some of those people chose to create a disturbance the likes of which we have never seen. We are very thankful that none of our Golf and Games family or customers were injured during this situation. We are actively trying to identify those involved and hold them accountable for their actions.”

Management’s having to modernize:

“Going forward, any minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Anyone that is left unattended will be asked to leave. We have been the Memphis area’s locally owned place for family entertainment for nearly six decades. We will always welcome those who choose to share their family experiences with us. Please understand this is not a reflection of us or our park. We look forward to serving you soon.”

Sounds about right.

And in case you’re wondering, here’s NBC Tampa:

The Putt Putt Fun Center was back open Sunday.

So far, only a 13-year-old boy was issued a juvenile summons for disorderly conduct.

I’m no Nostradamus, but after months of the boob tube getting downright jiggly over looting, burning, trespassing, smashing and the like…after weeks and weeks of TV’s talking heads touting the moment’s unbridled uprising, I’d say expect to see a whole lot more of the same. And not just from America’s tuned-up twenty-somethings — youngsters copy what they see in the world, and what teen doesn’t wanna act like they’re in college?

Brace yourself, America. And mini golfers everywhere, look out — at any moment, cross customers might pitch a fit like they’re fore.
