Well, this might be the team that finally brings reality in line with the lofty expectations between the hedges. In Kirby Smart’s second season as coach, Georgia has won its first eight games, all but one by at least three touchdowns, and claimed the No. 1 spot in the first College Football Playoff rankings. Did you love the Democratic National Convention? Athletic anomaly Herschel Walker didn’t.

The staggeringly powerful NFL star-turned MMA mangler took to Twitter Thursday night to give his assessment.

You might say he’s sick of “black,” Jack — the man’s tired of the conventional card game.

Here’s how the Olympic bobsledder put it:

“Wow, Democratic Convention, you’re playing the race card way too much tonight! You all have been in office for years and have done nothing for African Americans. Every four years, you do this for a vote. And the violence and death in our communities, yet you say nothing?”

Race was certainly a titanic topic of the four-night extravaganza.

As noted by the Washington Examiner, skin color got repeated mentions among former presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg, Sen. Tammy Duckworth, and former 2020 hopeful Andrew Yang. Of course, there was also aspiring VP Kamala Harris and Mr. Big himself, Joe Biden — who previously pointed out he’s so down with black people, he’s not even uncomfortable around ’em.

Joe also served up this last year:

“Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”

Herschel’s not known for his Democratic ways — the guy’s a vocal supporter of the President.

And he’s none too afraid to share his views.

A couple summer standouts:

As reported by RedState’s Nick Arama, earlier this month, Herschel took to the Twitterverse over Bible burning — under the auspices of “Black Lives Matter”:

Back to the DNC, Herschel’s tweet’s been shared nearly 50,000 times.

Here are a few Thumbs Ups:

When Herschel Walker speaks, people listen — not only is he a pummeling punisher in the ring, but he’s one on Twitter, too.

Back to the whole cards thing, here are some for Democrats to play, if they dare:
