Kirstie Alley Takes No Prisoners in Her War With CNN

Kirstie Alley isn’t your typical Hollywood celebrity.

Hence, on October 20th, I offered the article “Kirstie Alley Shrugs Off the Haters, Goes Full Speed Ahead for Trump.”

She’s back in the news, and this time it’s for her condemnation of a cable news colossus.

Kirstie took to Twitter Friday morning to bust CNN over stoking the flames of paralyzing fear as America continues its COVID course.

Apparently, the Cheers star had been wondering why people were so unforgivingly freaked out about the corona.

The mystery was solved when she at last took in the sights and sounds of Jim Acosta’s favored #DefenderOfTruth.

She reported thusly:

“I now know why my personal friends who walk around in SHEER TERROR of contracting COVID are simply CNN viewers! I decided to watch CNN myself to get a their viewpoint, and oh my God DID I EVER!!!! IF YOU TOO WANT TO LIVE IN TERROR, WATCH CNN!! FEAR OF DYING IS THEIR MANTRA! OMG!”

The star’s certainly correct that the network crafts a good narrative. You needn’t take in much tube time to be sure of its general political position.

And the Force is strong with this one: While Alley chaps the channel’s behind, Ted Turner’s baby isn’t just gonna lie there and take it.

Therefore — and like the Empire — CNN struck back:

“Kirstie, you are welcome to change the channel – just like countless viewers did every time Veronica’s Closet came on TV. But don’t downplay the loss of nearly 230K American lives. And please, wear a mask.”

Of course, all news is selective. For every story that’s covered, others are shoved aside. And amid the mainstream, as Election Day approaches, there appears to be no great attempt to highlight anti-Biden bombshells.

So Kirstie got catty and clawed:

The girl’s not afraid to speak her mind. And as for the pandemic, unlike her shutdown of CNN, she’s previously praised the President:

The actress took some flack for her CNN slam, but she persisted just the same:
