Donald Trump split time in half.

There was Trump — who, for decades, Hollywood hobnobbingly heralded and rap songs revered…

And then there’s post-2015 Trump — the son (or father?) of Satan.

If I may, a contrast:

VS.

In light of the revolution, there’s been talk of deleting Donald from the 1992 Christmas colossus Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.

Former child star Macaulay Culkin’s on board:

But one celebrity’s less than impressed.

Hence, she’s demanding to be bounced from all John Hughes films if the President’s pruned.

I’m speaking of — for those of you not in the know — the real Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Kristy Swanson.

On Friday, Kristy staked her status:

“If Cancel Culture is really going to have Donald J. Trump removed from the John Hughes movie Home Alone, then in support of MY PRESIDENT, I’d like to have myself officially removed from the John Hughes’ films, Pretty In Pink and Ferris [Bueller’s] Day Off.”

A couple Tinseltown tenants swooped in against Swanson.

From Best in Show’s Jane Lynch:

“I’m sorry. Who are you?”

Combined with a questioning of Kristy’s allegiance, actor Patton Oswalt recalled his own edited experiences:

“This is weak, Kristy. I was removed from AS GOOD AS IT GETS and BAD SANTA years before Trump even THOUGHT of running for President. That’s how I support MY leader. Why do you hate America?”

As reported by The Daily Wire, despite a continuous West Coast wave crashing against the Commander-in-Chief, one cameo will definitely be staying in:

Despite being pressed by social justice warriors, actor Ben Stiller said that President Trump’s appearance in the 2001 hit “Zoolander” would remain, noting that his cameo was a spur of the moment opportunity at the VH1 Fashion Awards red carpet pre-show.

“We were shooting at the now defunct VH1 Fashion Awards…and as people were coming up the red carpet, we pulled them aside and asked them to talk about Derek Zoolander, and so Trump and Melania did that,” Stiller told The Daily Beast in early 2020. “I’ve had people reach out to me and say, ‘You should edit Donald Trump out of Zoolander, but at the end of the day, that was a time when that exists and that happened.”

More from Ben:

“There were so many movies [back then] that had a silly cameo from Donald Trump. He represented a certain thing.”

He sure did.

These days, we’re told he represents something else:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s surely had a lot going on these last few years — since Trump added an “R” next to his name, the Democrat Party’s been out for blood.

So goes the pulse of politics.
