Guess Who Is Funding Mass Illegal Immigration? You Are

We have all seen the images of never-ending streams of illegal immigrants on their way to cross illegally into the U.S. By all accounts, the trip through Central America and Mexico is an extremely dangerous and life-threatening one. But a lot of those videos we have seen show people who hardly look as if they have trekked through rugged jungle terrain and Mexican desert. They don't appear to be thin, not well-fed, their clothes do not appear as if they have been traveling for months, and they all have cell phones. How can that be? Simple, the American taxpayer is funding the trip for millions of illegal immigrants in a rather insidious way, all thanks to Joe Biden.

A group called the Regional Refugee and Migrant Response Plan (RMRP), is led by our old "friends" at the United Nations. In light of what most Americans see as a national security, humanitarian, and every other kind of crisis at the Southern Border, the RMRP has called on 200 non-profit organizations to hand out a whopping $1.6 billion in cash debit cards, food, clothing, medical care, shelter, and what is billed as "humanitarian transportation in 2024 to millions of illegals from 17 Central American nations and Mexico. Where has the RMRP secured its funding for this massive undertaking? Well, at least part of it is coming from the Biden administration, translation: you.

The Center for Immigration Studies looked at 30 faith-based non-profit groups representing Jewish, Lutheran, Seventh Day Adventists, Catholic, and other nondenominational and evangelical groups. The Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM), and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), both of which come under the purview of the U.S. State Department, have been transferring taxpayer dollars to these groups, whose job appears to be, keep all the illegals moving along comfortably towards the U.S.

So, just who is handing out the freebies so that illegal immigrants will have an easier time breaking into the country? The Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS) received $11 million from the State Department. The UN "Activity Explorer Database" reveals that $6.1 million of what HIAS has committed to in 2024 will be handed out as cash and in-kind cash services, but also food, shelter, and more humanitarian transportation. Seventh Day Adventists will hand out roughly $10 million in cash, cash vouchers, food, shelter, and hygiene items in Brazil, Columbia, Ecuador, Argentina, and Peru. So far in 2024, they have received two unspecified grants, and it is unknown just how much will be going to assist illegal immigrants in their trip north, but Brazil and Honduras are where a lot of their money has been spent. "Caritas" is a group that describes itself as "inspired by the Catholic faith, " and "the helping hand of the church." They will hand out $12.3 million in cash and cash vouchers. Lutheran World Relief received a million-dollar grant that will enable them to give out around $181,000 to support immigrants in Central America.

Amazingly, this report comes as the disaster at the border only gets worse. The Border Patrol recently reported that arrests from illegal border crossings reached an all-time high in December of 2023 at 249,785, up 13 percent from the previous all-time high of 222,018 in December of 2022. What is not so amazing is that, after three years of this, Joe Biden and his hapless administration are only now beginning to call it a "crisis." Funny how it magically becomes a crisis in an election year, where one of the top issues that matter to voters is immigration, and a Real Clear Politics poll has Joe Biden's job approval on immigration at 32 percent.

The next time you turn on the TV and see illegal immigrants holding up signs thanking Joe Biden, they are really thanking you.
