Suspect in UGA Nursing Student Murder Is—Surprise—In the Country Illegally

Most Americans have been saying for quite a while now that the invasion of nearly 10 million illegal immigrants from literally all over the world, with no way to know who they are, puts actual Americans in the most extremely dangerous predicament. We have seen it in action in every major American city as crime rates skyrocket daily. But now, sadly, what everyone has feared was going to happen finally has. This is not the first time an American has been killed at the hands of an illegal immigrant, but it is a textbook example of what the border policies of Joe Biden and his hapless administration have inflicted upon us.

The body of Laken Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student at the University of Georgia, was found near an on-campus lake Thursday morning after she did not return after jogging earlier that morning. The suspect charged in the murder is 26-year-old Jose Antonio Ibarra.

On Saturday, it was confirmed that Ibarra is an illegal immigrant from Venezuela. Ibarra originally crossed into the U.S. illegally at El Paso, Texas in September of 2022, and according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), was released into the country on a parole; but it has also been reported that he was released from a detention center due to lack of space.

Ibarra has been charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, kidnapping, hindering a 911 call, and concealing the death of another. Police believe that this was a crime of opportunity, and that Riley and Ibarra did not know each other. The results of an autopsy were still pending, but authorities stated that Riley had "visible injuries," and that the suspected cause of death was blunt-force trauma.

Since Joe Biden became President in 2021, he has allowed roughly 7.2 million illegal immigrants into the country. That number is equal to the population of 36 states. Immediately after he took office, Biden began to unravel all of the Trump-era policies that were keeping Americans safe, and border crossings at historic lows.

Laken Riley's senseless murder at the hands of someone who should have never been in the country has sparked outrage among several of Georgia's elected officials, most notably, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who stated on X, "Ibarra is an illegal alien and murdered a young woman the age of my own children. Deportation is not enough. He deserves the death penalty." In another X post, Greene stated, "You want to break in our country, ILLEGALLY, and murder one of our girls. DEATH PENALTY!"

Rep. Mike Collins also posted on X, "Jose Antonio Ibarra would make a great first passenger for the new Pinochet Air." It was a reference to Chilean Dictator Augusto Pinochet, who would toss political opponents out of helicopters and planes.

Jose Antonio Ibarra is not the only member the Ibarra family of Venezuela has offered up to the U.S. Ibarra's brother, Diego, 29, was charged on Friday with possessing a fake green card. Jose Antonio Ibarra clearly learned his criminal ways at the feet of his older brother. Diego came into the country illegally in September of 2023 and was promptly arrested for drunk driving and driving without a license. One month later, he was arrested for shoplifting. In December, he skipped out on a court date.

So, to review the havoc the Ibarra brothers have inflicted on American citizens in their short time here: there are charges of drunk driving, driving without a license, fake green cards, shoplifting, and murder. How many more sets of Ibarra brothers are roaming free in the U.S.? How many are driving drunk or committing murder? Anyone looking at this case cannot state unequivocally, that Joe Biden, Alejandro Mayorkas, and anyone else who has turned a blind eye and allowed or supported this invasion has the blood of Laken Riley on their hands.

Now, Joe Biden may announce he is issuing an executive order on immigration at the upcoming State of the Union address, so he can blame the mess at the border on Republicans. Joe Biden does not give a rip about the death of Laken Riley. Will he visit her family like he did with George Floyd's family? Doubtful. Because the border is nothing but politics to Joe Biden. Some estimates are that by November, the number of illegal immigrants in the U.S. will reach 10 million. Just as there are many more sets of Ibarra brothers, there will be more Laken Rileys.
