This is a pretty big development.
John Solomon released a rather interesting report last night detailing that Burisma, the Ukrainian gas company that employed Hunter Biden, was personally lobbying the Obama administration about the investigations into them. Less than a month later, Joe Biden would be caught on video threatening aid if the Ukrainians didn’t fire the prosecutor looking into the matter?
Coincidence? Come on.
Breaking: Memos detailing Hunter Biden's contacts with Obama State Department released. VP son's Ukrainian gas firm pressed US officials to end corruption allegations … just a month before Joe Biden forced firing of prosecutor overseeing case.https://t.co/APtdGUrnxn

Hunter Biden and his Ukrainian gas firm colleagues had multiple contacts with the Obama State Department during the 2016 election cycle, including one just a month before Vice President Joe Biden forced Ukraine to fire the prosecutor investigating his son’s company for corruption, newly released memos show.
During that February 2016 contact, a U.S. representative for Burisma Holdings sought a meeting with Undersecretary of State Catherine A. Novelli to discuss ending the corruption allegations against the Ukrainian firm where Hunter Biden worked as a board member, according to memos obtained under a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit. (I filed that suit this summer with the help of the public interest law firm the Southeastern Legal Foundation.)
Just three weeks before Burisma’s overture to State, Ukrainian authorities raided the home of the oligarch who owned the gas firm and employed Hunter Biden, a signal the long-running corruption probe was escalating in the middle of the U.S. presidential election.
Hunter Biden’s name, in fact, was specifically invoked by the Burisma representative as a reason the State Department should help, according to a series of email exchanges among U.S. officials trying to arrange the meeting. The subject line for the email exchanges read simply “Burisma.”
Keep in mind, this is a story the media, Democrats, and a lot of Republicans of a certain leaning have been swearing up and down has no evidence behind it. This seems like a pretty big revelation compared to the “there’s no there there” assertions we’ve been hearing. Heck, there’s just as much circumstantial evidence of possible corruption here as anything dealing with Donald Trump and his call to Zelensky, which is now spearheading an impeachment attempt.
We have the company Hunter Biden was working for going directly to the Obama administration and pressing them to help end the corruption probes against Burisma. Shortly thereafter, even as the investigation showed signs of escalating in Ukraine, the prosector was fired and everything suddenly stopped. This all came at the behest of Joe Biden (and more largely the Obama administration), who is on tape saying the prosecutor had to be fired or $1 billion in aid would be held back.
Hunter Biden was also name-dropped specifically, and lest anyone question the source, we have the emails. This all came via a FOIA request from Solomon.
Another FOIA'd email shows that Hunter Biden's business partner and fellow Burisma board member Devon Archer was set to meet with Secretary of State John Kerry on March 2, 2016, a week after the email mentioning Hunter. pic.twitter.com/9MtqQSSg87

This thing is getting a lot smokier, at least to the point where it’s more than fair to ask further questions. There can’t be two standards, one for Donald Trump and one for everyone else, when it comes to corruption allegations.
Of course, the media will ignore this because they always ignore scandals dealing with Democrats, but the rest of us are going to get this stuff out there. Great work by Solomon to mine this story when no one else in the mainstream will touch it.
