If you wanted to try convince the pursuable middle on impeachment, most of which are blue collar workers or suburbanites, what would be the last thing you’d want to do?
If you guessed call a bunch of Ivy League professors from extremely liberal schools to come in as “experts” and bloviate, congrats. And that’s exactly what Jerry Nadler is doing after having the impeachment inquiry handed off to him to vote on drafting articles of impeachment.

It’s like he’s following a dummies guide to projecting elitism and killing TV ratings, which are crucial for Democrats to build support. What some Harvard professor thinks about President Trump is hardly going to sway opinion and it will certainly come across as more partisanship on the part of Democrats.
I joked last week that Nadler would end up calling a bunch of Democrat lawyers as "witnesses" and that's exactly what he did lol https://t.co/B8EwUOKaGw

As we’ve all been assured, impeachment is a political process. Nadler and his crew should make their decision. It’s not going to suddenly be more credible if a leftist from GWU tells us how awful the orange man is.
There is zero doubt that all four of these “witnesses” will toe the Democrat line and say exactly what Nadler wants said. Trump is doing the right thing by not participating. There’s no reason to give credence to this process, especially given the public’s declining support for impeachment. Democrats are losing this battle. Parading out liberal professors isn’t going to change that. It will only make it worse.
