Here's the Number of Times the Mainstream Media Have Mentioned Joe Biden's Sexual Assault Accuser

If the mainstream media didn’t have double standards, they’d have none at all.

In case you missed it, a woman named Tara Reade, who was a former staffer for Joe Biden, is accusing him of sexual assault. RedState’s streiff covered the story initially last week.

Here’s an excerpt.

“We were alone and it was the strangest thing,” she said. “There was no like exchange really. He just had me up against the wall.”

Reade went on to say that she was wearing a business skirt with no stockings because it was hot at the time. While up against the wall, Reade says Biden’s “hands were on me and underneath my clothes.”

“He went down my skirt but then up inside it and he penetrated me with his fingers,” Reade emotionally continued.

Reade also said Biden was kissing her and saying multiple things to her.

Whether Reade is telling the truth or not is still an open question. The fact that she worked directly for Biden and was later fired adds an additional layer of credibly to her accusation, but any claim of sexual assault needs to be fully adjudicated. Biden, despite being a creep who’s often caught groping and sniffing women, still maintains the presumption of innocence until further evidence is presented.

Regardless, what’s not an open question is how hypocritical and biased the mainstream media are. The Daily Wire took a look back at the coverage of Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford to comprehensively compare it to how Biden is now being treated. The results are stunning.

Yes, those are massive goose eggs for coverage of Biden’s accuser from all four of the most prominent mainstream media newspapers and cable networks. CNN, that bastion of journalist integrity, has mentioned Reade zero times. Anyone think that’ll garner a mention in Stelter’s newsletter this week?

Meanwhile, all the above outlets lost their collective minds over Kavanaugh’s accuser, offering breathless coverage pronouncing her credible and putting out dozens upon dozens of supportive op-eds. That’s a dramatic difference from the complete blackout they are enacting to protect Biden.

But this is par for the course. None of these “journalistic” outfits really buy into the “believe all women” moto. Rather, they just see it as a political tool. If a Republican is accused, even if the accusation makes no sense, it’s gospel and propagated nonstop. If it’s a Democrat being accused, suddenly you need verifiable evidence to even mention that the accusation has been made.

Biden can’t run from this forever, though. Word is getting out and he’ll eventually have to make a statement. In the meantime, the media will continue to do their best to run interference.
