The CHOP/CHAZ Is Now Racially Segregating Because Nothing Has to Make Sense

New cement and wood barricades bear the name CHOP, Tuesday, June 16, 2020, inside what has been named the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest zone in Seattle. The city put the barriers in place Tuesday in hopes of defining an area where emergency, delivery, and other vehicles can travel through the area while still preserving space for protesters, who have been there since police pulled back from near the department’s East Precinct after recent clashes with people protesting the death of George Floyd. Remember when some conservatives assured us that all this lunacy was just a result of naive young people on college campuses? We were assured that, once they got out into the real world, reality would kick them in the teeth and sanity would reign.

Well, not so much. What we are seeing across the country is the Marxist, left-wing culture run wild and it’s only getting worse. Instead of “growing up,” these people are keeping their views while gaining more and more power.

The latest example comes from the CHOP in Seattle, where the idea of college “safe spaces” has turned into full-blown segregation.

Racism is good again, I guess?

None of this makes sense but it doesn’t have to make sense. This is pure emotionalism on display. It’s the kind of thing you see as nations collapse from irrationalism and chaos. I suppose we are arrogant enough to believe that can’t happen here, but these kinds of views are not the minority among those who will eventually be in power over the next several decades.

The idea of not judging people by skin color is now considered archaic. Now you are racist if you don’t immediately racialize everything. Think I’m kidding? Slate wrote an article yesterday, which I’m not giving clicks to by linking, in which a mom fretted that her son’s view of people was too colorblind. It’s insane, but it’s 2020 in a nutshell.

We simply can not survive as a society like this. But as long as you have one side of the aisle (and some on all sides) making excuses and coddling this, hoping the alligator won’t get to them, it’s not going to stop.
