President Trump gave a press conference today at his New Jersey golf club. The topics ranged from the Lebanese explosion to the economy. He praised the good jobs numbers and was also asked about the new intel report noting that China and Russia want to see Biden and Trump win respectively. As pressers go, it was one of his better performances. Maybe the reporters were just off their game tonight in the formulation of dishonest questions, but he seemed to handled every inquiry well.

Then one final question was asked, setting up perhaps the best executed troll of Trump’s presidency. I don’t say that lightly. The combination of throwing the media’s hypocrisy back in their faces combined with the way he executed in conjunction with the crowd was just hilarious.

Take the time and watch the whole clip. This wasn’t just a one liner. It was a full minute of rubbing the media’s face in their nonsense.

This absolutely triggered “journalists” across the land who just couldn’t deal with being called out.

The above CBS News “reporter” was tweeting earlier about the crowd and how rich they are while other Americans suffer. She seems obsessed with wealth, insinuating that being rich means you have less freedom of assembly than “protesters” at BLM events. Regardless, you can tell how upset she is.

Jim Acosta was also thoroughly rustled.

Meanwhile, liberals on Twitter were also wailing and gnashing their teeth, claiming Trump was going to get people killed or that he had somehow broken ethics rules. I won’t bore you with the details.

While some conservatives rushed to try to be the “adult in the room” in response to Trump’s jab, I think that’s ridiculous. This was objectively funny and also incredibly relevant given how hypocritical the media have been in promoting selective violations of constitutional rights. It was long overdue for them to be made to face their hypocrisy. I don’t care what Republicans would have done if it were Obama or any other such hypothetical. All I know is that Trump is currently president and what he said needed to be said.

Love him or hate him, Trump is the absolute is an absolute master at this.
