It seems that conservatives aren’t the only ones noticing the condition Joe Biden is in. If you missed it yesterday, he had another awful public appearance where he ranted about controlling the weather and the suburbs being destroyed. That was when he didn’t have bugs landing on his neck. In another instance, Biden went so off the rails that his sign language interpreter looked like he was having a seizure.

For her part, Kamala Harris isn’t stupid. She sees what’s going on and is already thinking long term. That’s how you get Freudian slips like this.

Biden had better invest in a food taster. It’s no mere coincidence that Harris reminds many people of Hillary Clinton. From the insufferable cackle to the naked ambition, willing to do anything to gain power, Harris is a near carbon copy of the former Secretary of State. There’s no doubt in my mind that she believes Biden won’t finish his first term. Heck, at this point it’s an open question whether he makes it to Inauguration Day if he wins. This is a man falling and falling fast. That anyone thinks he’s going to flip the switch in the debates and suddenly be competent is puzzling at best.

Does that look like a man who’s going to lead the free world for the next four years? Or does that look like a man who will be retiring to his basement pudding stock sooner rather than later? I think we all know the answer to that. And while some continue to have blind faith that some miracle will rescue his mind from its current descent, Harris knows the game. She has to feel like she has won the lottery at this point, running as vice president with a man who almost certainly won’t make it a year into any term he’s elected for.

But just like Hillary Clinton did in 2016, Harris may be underestimating the probabilities that things don’t go her way. Trump is gaining in key demographics and the polls are tightening in the battlegrounds. There’s still a lot of campaign left, to the point where the most important parts haven’t even begun yet. Harris shouldn’t be surprised if she wakes up in November and her dreams of a “Harris administration” have been blown up.
