In a story that's becoming all too often in Europe, another terrorist attack has been carried about by an Islamic extremist.

Armand Rajabpour-Miyandoab, who is of Iranian origin, stabbed three people, killing one and leaving two others in critical condition. The attack happened near the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. Witnesses revealed that he had shouted "Allahu Akbar" during the rampage.

According to France 24, Rajabpour-Miyandoab made a video pledging his allegiance to the Islamic State. He also told authorities that he went on his stabbing spree as a response to Arabs being killed, likely in connection to Israel's war against Hamas.

To make matters worse, the attacker was already arrested in 2016 for planning to carry out a stabbing attack. It has not been confirmed whether Rajabpour-Miyandoab is a refugee or not, though that seems likely. If he is, it would seem to have been an awful decision to not deport him after his original prison stint.

Further, it appears the attacker was not acting alone but instead had been in contact with an infamous terrorist who beheaded a French teacher in 2020.

This is obviously a person who should have been under the watchful eye of French authorities given his history, and if possible, should have been thrown out of the country. For some reason, he wasn't, and no one stepped in even after he publicly pledged allegiance to ISIS.

This is a developing story.
