Riley Gaines Demolishes Third-Place Female Athelete Who Praised Transgender 'Winners'

Riley Gaines is speaking out after the third-place finisher in a cycling race in Illinois praised the two biological men who beat her.

As RedState reported, Tessa Johnson and Evelyn Williamson, who are "transgender" and competed in the race as "women," finished first and second, knocking Kristin Chalmers down to the lowest spot on the podium. A picture of the three standing together during the award ceremony went viral, showing a towering man standing in the first-place position.

Gaines responded by offering to cover the prize money for any woman who would refuse to compete under such circumstances.

Chalmers wasn't interested, though. Instead, she signed a letter of support for the two men, claiming that they are marginalized and the "most vulnerable within our community." She then proclaimed that "trans women are women."

“We refuse to be falsely presented as victims in a manufactured controversy driven to further alienate and marginalize those most vulnerable within our community, in service of rampant and harmful anti-LGBTQ+ legislation,” the letter read, according to NBC. “We speak for ourselves: inclusion makes our sport and community stronger. Everyone is welcome here. Trans women are women.”

Do the two men in the above photograph look "vulnerable" and "marginalized" to you? Because to me, they look like they can do pretty much anything they want without consequence. After all, they were allowed to compete in and win a women's cycling race. If anything, transgender individuals enjoy a unique set of privileges in our current society along with a well-overblown level of rhetorical protection. Given that, I'm a little tired of being told how marginalized they are.

Gaines fired back, calling Chalmers a "traitor to women."

Gaines, an OutKick contributor and host of OutKick’s “Gaines for Girls” podcast, said in a statement to Fox News Digital that Chalmers was a “traitor to women.”

“Why is it so often women applauding their own erasure? Chalmers may claim she’s fine losing to men, but female athletes like her don’t have the right to willingly surrender the integrity of competition for everyone,” Gaines said.

“The majority of female athletes believe women deserve respect and fair competition. She is a traitor to ethical and fair sport. And she’s a traitor to women.”

It is correct to say that Chalmers is applauding her own erasure because that's exactly what is happening. When biological men are allowed to compete in physical sports against women, they dominate. That means fewer awards, prize money, and scholarships for actual women who have trained for long periods of their lives to compete. It's ridiculous, and it's unfair.

The only way it stops is if women stand up and say enough is enough, refusing to compete. If they instead do what Chalmers did, there will be nothing left of women's sports in another decade.
