WATCH: Top Terrorist Leader Gets Vaporized in Gaza

Israel can mark another name off the long list of terrorists it sought to eliminate following the attacks of October 7th. Mamdouh Lulu, a senior commander of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, was turned to vapor on Thursday, and it was all captured on video.

The IDF announced the news along with releasing the footage of the strike, noting that the death was confirmed by Sin Bet (Israeli intelligence) and that Lulu was formerly part of Palestinian Islamic Jihad's northern Gaza division.

While not specifically part of the Hamas hierarchy, Palestinian Islamic Jihad is another violent terrorist organization that, after much infighting, has more recently allied itself with Hamas. The group is responsible for some of the rockets that have been fired in Israel. They were also behind the infamous rocket that fell short and hit the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital early in the current Israeli-Hamas war.

Following the explosion, the Hamas-controlled "Gaza Health Authority" claimed 500 people had died in an Israeli airstrike that destroyed the hospital. The next day, it became clear a terrorist rocket had fallen short (confirmed by a cellphone intercept), ignited in the parking lot, and killed several dozen people camping out in a courtyard. The hospital itself was undamaged aside from some broken windows.

The death of Lulu marks another domino falling, but he's far from the main prize. As long as Yahya Sinwar, who heads up Hamas in Gaza, is still breathing, the current hostilities are not going to end. Israel will continue to strike until the entire leadership structure is non-existent. Anything short of that will simply invite a re-organization of these terrorist entities to commit another major attack like October 7th.

If the "ceasefire now" activists want a ceasefire, the only way to get that is for Hamas to surrender or be destroyed. They should start there instead of pretending these terrorists can be allowed to survive the war. There will be no peace until Israel has a viable peace partner, and Sinwar and company are not that.
