Sowing and reaping. It's a concept that has marked politics many times over the years, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez just completed a crash course in it.

Video has emerged showing the congresswoman being accosted by pro-Hamas protesters while leaving a movie theater on Monday night. The group can be seen demanding she call Israel's war against the terrorist group a "genocide." That's when Ocasio-Cortez loses it and begins screaming obscenities at them.

Has Ocasio-Cortez called the war in Gaza a genocide? I can't find any evidence of that, though she has given a nod to those who do so, claiming that accusations of genocide show the "inhumanity" occurring.

Once again, I'm left to remind politicians that you can never be woke enough. The far left will always eat its own because the march of progressivism never stops. There will always be the next purity test, and right now, that test is whether one supports lies in support of a terrorist group that sets babies on fire and chops up women after shooting them. Ocasio-Cortez, for all her criticism of Israel, hasn't gone quite far enough for the lunatics.

It's at this point that I'm compelled to remind the congresswoman that she encouraged this kind of public harassment of her political opponents.

When protesters are targeting conservative Supreme Court justices at their homes or Ted Cruz at a restaurant, Ocasio-Cortez is fine with that. According to her, that's just how protests work. They are supposed to make politicians "uncomfortable," even when they represent an invasion of privacy. When she's the target, though, suddenly it's a problem worthy of shouting obscenities in public.

Ocasio-Cortez helped build the Frankenstein monster that is now attacking her. She encouraged the pro-Hamas fanatics to take to the streets. Now, they are going after her. What a shame, right?

In a country where both sides of the political aisle were sane, there would be an agreement that even politicians have a right to live outside of government. I don't like to see anyone confronted and shouted down in public. I don't think it accomplishes anything, and it further encourages radicals to treat politics as a quasi-religion that takes precedence over everything else in life.

But hey, I didn't make the rules. Ocasio-Cortez wanted this. She sowed, and now she's reaping.
