Lie-Able Sources Podcast: Fables at the Border, the Senate Acts Like the Press, and ESPN Games the Emmys

Your source to mainline mainstream media misdeeds and malarkey.

It’s a border imbroglio episode, with the press acting out and as imbalanced as you can imagine – facts be damned. First, we look at the outrage over what Greg Abbott is doing in Texas and how the media have become unhinged. Claims of him defying the direct orders of SCOTUS are provably false, but that does not stop the wailing about it in the press. MEANWHILE, the president himself has just come out and is announcing — bragging, really — how he is operating in direct defiance of the Supreme Court ruling on student loan debt relief. And the press…does not care.

Then we have Senator Mike Lee showing how the Senate leaders operate to pass monolithic legislation with a load-and-push tactic seen frequently in the press, and thus helped along with press assistance. It mirrors a tactic often seen where journalists craft lengthy hit pieces on a subject and then contact their target at the last minute for a comment. Examples abound from Ted Cruz, Ron DeSantis, and others.

Lastly, we look at a story from a few weeks ago, where ESPN was exposed as being involved in a massive Emmy Awards scandal. The network manipulated the nomination process in order to obtain trophies for its on-air talent and even physically alter the statues for their hosts. Further, they tried desperately to smother this story, and it nearly worked out.

Now, crack one open and savor some mainstream media mayhem and malpractice.
