There were a pair of notable reporter names with career announcements this week. They concerned journalists of opposite skill sets and encountering career moves in opposite directions, moves that were in opposition to their talents. Paramount Global announced there will be hundreds of layoffs, and some of these involved CBS News, specifically the dependably sharp Catherine Herridge. Meanwhile, at CNN, the network announced it was promoting its hack intel correspondent Natasha Bertrand. I take a look at Bertrand's past of promoting numerous fraudulent reports on behalf of the CIA.
Also at CNN, Brianna Keilar had a revealing interview with Texas Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R). It revealed just how partisan Keilar has become. The issue concerned the border and the impeachment of Alejandro Mayorkas, and Keilar has such a preset agenda that she becomes combative with Van Duyne after facts derail her narrative.
A revealing — and bothersome — report was made by Dylan Byers from Puck News. He surveyed a number of reporters from the White House press corps, and Byers states that all of them acknowledged they witnessed Joe Biden’s cognitive decline. It is so apparent that the reporters frequently discuss the president’s mental condition in the offices at the White House. One thing they do not frequently do, however, is report on this to the public.
Then at Vox, they come to a very odd conclusion about viral outbreaks and how UV light can combat the spread of these contagions. We say “odd” because this defies previous reports questioning the efficacy of UV light and viruses – as seen in Vox.
Now, crack one open and savor some mainstream media mayhem and malpractice.
