My Tinfoil Hat Theory About Britney Spears's Instagram and Her Sister Jamie Lynn

Power and money are addictive and those who have it will do pretty much anything to hold on to it, even if it means playing dirty. Once obtain a certain level of lifestyle, it’s hard to climb back down the rungs of the ladder of success and settle for something less. The more shady a person is, the more I believe there are skeletons in their closet, both figurative and sometimes very literal.

Looking at the Britney Spears conservatorship, I’ve come to believe that conservatorship is one of the evilest things that exist in our society. Imagine having full control over a person who can’t break out of this control, and it’s backed by the full support of our legal system. It almost seems like something that should be illegal in our free society.

Quick aside, San Francisco is now trying to push conservatorship on residents the city deems mentally ill, and that in itself is a huge can of worms we should be concerned about.

While I do understand that there are times with something akin to it is necessary, it feels like a jailer/prisoner relationship. With someone like Spears, it has the added disgust of feeling a bit like slavery. She rakes in millions off of her former career as a pop star and her family allegedly reaps the benefits. I say allegedly because it’s not entirely clear who gets what. What we do know is that sitting on the throne of the Spears conservatorship is Jamie Spears, the father of Britney Spears.

According to all accounts, Spears’ father controls pretty much every aspect of her life. She gets an allowance of her own money while he uses millions of her own money to keep her trapped in the conservatorship. According to Stylcaster, Jamie has made at least $5 million from the conservatorship. Meanwhile, he exerted control over everything from her love life to her work schedule, making the slavery analogy a little more realistic:

She also claimed that Jamie had put her on lithium against her will, forced her to keep an IUD, work seven days a week and not allow her to marry or have children. “The control he had over someone as powerful as me — he loved the control to hurt his own daughter 100,000%. He loved it,” she said. “I worked seven days a week, no days off, which in California, the only similar thing to this is called sex trafficking.”

We can safely say that Jamie is controlling pretty much every aspect of Spears’s life, and this includes her social media. As any #FreeBritney fan will tell you, her Instagram, in particular, is very odd. Watching them seems to be a smorgasbord of posts from a disturbed woman with haggard hair and makeup doing odd things.

The oddities also include vacation photos that turn out to be vacation photos from a previous year, and posts about her hearing about the discovery of a new planet in our solar system called “Planet 9,” a reference to Rose MacGowan’s post-Harvey Weinstein album.

Enough weird stuff happens on the pop star’s Instagram that it’s given conspiracy theorists a lot to do. People obsessively look into every detail in her posts in the same way YouTubers go over Marvel movie trailers.

Is it possible Spears is using her Instagram to send messages? I’m gonna give that a Joe Rogan “entirely possible” award as this may be Spears’ only means of getting messages out to the world, and with everything in her life being controlled, coded messages may be her way of slipping her real thoughts and calls for help by the censors in her conservatorship.

But let’s fast forward to current events as Spears has now allegedly wrestled some control of her own Instagram away from the conservatorship and is posting like a scorned woman whose fury hell hath no, with her sister Jamie Lynn Spears being the target of.

The quick and dirty of it is that Britney started posting things that lashed out at her sister who has been in the news lately after many began wondering where Jamie Lynn fit into the conservatorship. Jamie Lynn is a trustee in the conservatorship, and according to Britney’s posts, Jamie Lynn has also been taking advantage of her sister.

That could very well be true, but I do have my skepticism about it the depth at which Jamie Lynn is involved, or about how she conducts care for her sister while navigating what are clearly familial complications. I think there are a lot of minefields in the Spears family, and avoiding them seems to be something of an art form if Spears’ Instagram is any indication.

That said, I have the odd impression that Spears’ Instagram is still being controlled by the conservatorship and that Spears’ lashing out at Jamie Lynn seems strange. She could have lashed out at anybody who controlled her other than her father. There is an army of lawyers controlling the conservatorship. Why are none of them being named in Spears’ posts?

Instead, what we’re getting is Spears looking less than put together, dancing awkwardly, while posting erratic messages about her anger at her sister for performing remixes of her songs in tribute at an award show that Spears was in the front row for, and looking rather enthusiastic about, I might add.

I also have video proof of Jamie Lynn being a bit protective of her sister to the point of rage in the real world in one 2019 moment with the paparazzi. Jamie Lynn also seems to be keeping her cool and hinting that there’s more to the story than people understand and that the press is making the same mistakes they always make.

So here’s the tinfoil hat idea I pose to you. Is it possible that the things being posted from Britney right now aren’t even from Britney and that the goal of these posts is to make Spears look unstable and angry while also driving a wedge between her and her actual support in Jamie Lynn, the only other member of the Spears family with star power? Is it possible that Spears’ father, along with the lawyers that benefit from the conservatorship, is using the pop star’s Instagram (that they likely still have control over) as an evidence-building tool against her in order to keep her firmly within their control?

Maybe and maybe not. We don’t have enough information to fill these gaps in, but we do have conflicting elements in the mainstream narrative, and in my experience that usually means there’s far more to the story than we think and it’s way more nefarious than one may originally understand.

I think we need to get to the bottom of this and not because it’s juicy gossip about a pop star. I generally have a revulsion toward that kind of stuff, but this is different. This involves a case of actual, legally binding, modern-day slavery that may have further implications about what human rights looks like in the United States going forward.

What we may have here is a slaver controlling even the speech of the slave, and a manipulation of a person’s image in order to further control said person to further benefit from them. This is horrifying, and if Spears doesn’t come out on top, the legal precedent may mean far more trouble in the future.
