The Democrats Just Made Trump the GOP Nominee at This Point

All the Democrats had to do was nothing. Once Biden was declared the 2024 nominee they could have just done what they do to every inconvenient thing that threatens their narratives; ignore it.

But like a gay cowboy in the closet, the Democrats just didn’t know how to quit Trump. The moment he lost the presidency was a day that Democrats celebrated outwardly but, in their heart of hearts, they felt lost without him. Reporters could continue to try to blame Trump for every evil under the sun, but it just wasn’t the same. I’m pretty sure that careers were made off of reporting solely on what Trump tweeted out that day and his disappearance from Twitter cost careers.

His disappearance from the White House only made the left turn more spotlights on him and despite not having any more say over national affairs, it was like he never left. Democrats were still dedicating time, effort, and a whole lot of money to bringing him down.

The breathless pearl-clutching surrounding January 6, the Mar a Lago raid, and every “we got him this time” report that was made kept the bad orange man fresh in the minds of the people. Despite all king’s horses and all the king’s men working to bring him down, they could never truly get him.

And as more and more abuses were piled onto the people by the Biden administration and the Democrat majorities, their continued focus on Trump relayed a message to the abused, but I’ll get to that in a second.

The indictments by New York DA Alvin Bragg are an egregious abuse of power that sends the message that no one is safe from the Democrats. If you trouble them politically, financially, or both, your ass is grass. You’ll be mowed down and turned into mulch. You might spend the rest of your life in prison or become so financially broken that you’ll never recover.

It doesn’t matter if you’re innocent of the charges or not. They will use their power and taxpayer dollars to heap so much legal pressure on you that the experience will be a punishment in itself. This is what they’re doing to Trump, but rest assured, as much as this is payback for Trump giving the Democrats so much trouble, this is a message to you.

And judging from the reaction to these indictments, it would seem the people are getting the message, and they clearly aren’t happy about it. While the left is seal clapping and celebrating this latest episode of “We Got Em’ Now,” the aforementioned abused are watching this happen with a mixture of anger and unease if not outright fear.

If they can do this to Trump, they sure as hell can do this to you, and you don’t have the public backing or financial security to fight them. You would be ruined. You probably aren’t seeing a lot of ways out of this except for two avenues.

The first is total obedience which doesn’t come naturally to Americans. Even the obedient left that falls into lockstep with everything the Democrat Party says has to be fooled into it by playing on their sense of rebellion. Ironic, I know, but talking to a leftist will reveal that they truly believe they’re on the side of good fighting against an established evil.

But the other was exposed through the Democrat’s actions against Trump, and the answer for many is that man.

As I mentioned previously, the Democrats have sent a message to the people through all their attacks on Trump beginning all the way back in 2015.

“He’s not one of us.”

If you’re a voter, especially one of a right-leaning persuasion, you’ve endured quite a bit under the Democrats. You might have lost your business or job during the lockdowns. You might have refused to take the vaccine or taken it against your will to keep your job. Perhaps the jab affected you negatively in some way.

You’ve watched as inflation made your bills more expensive than you’re comfortable with. Perhaps the crime in your area has risen and the drug problem in your city is out of control Homelessness is through the roof. Maybe the school where your child attends became overtly woke in the face of a cultural social justice blitzkrieg.

All the while you’ve endured insults from activists, elected officials, and the media. They’ve done their best to actively silence you or ruin your life.

And as they do all this they continue to broadcast their disdain for Trump, but despite all their vitriol and declarations, their righteous anger betrays their real emotion; fear.

These bullies are afraid of Trump. He’s not of their ilk and they hate him and will do anything, including a Hail Mary set of indictments, to stop him from coming back. If you’re a voter, you start to see Trump as a guy who can really do some damage against the people who have been bullying and acting against you.

If you’re not feeling like Trump is a person under whom you can find safety against these corrupt people, then at the very least you’re feeling spiteful enough to make him your choice.

Provided nothing happens (and it likely won’t) Trump will become the Republican nominee just based on these feelings from voters alone, and just like 2016, it’ll be the Democrats who help get him there.

There’s still a lot of football left to play, but I’m not sure how the Democrats stop their addiction to trying to attack Trump, and every attack makes him stronger. While Ron DeSantis will be a strong GOP candidate, he won’t attract the same vitriol from the left. In desperation they may even endorse him which will make DeSantis’s case all the worse.

No, at this point the Democrats have secured Trump’s nomination as the GOP nominee in 2024, and given the Democrat’s performance over the past few years, they’ll likely take him back to the White House too.
