Detransitioners 'Encourage Violence' According to Meta's New Censorship of Detransitioner Chloe Cole

Detransitioners are a growing problem for Democrats and LGBT activists. According to them, transitioning from male to female is one of the fastest ways you can feel complete and confident, but detransitioners are sounding a very loud and clear alarm about how destructive the practice is.

With more popping up every day and anti-transition activists arising among them, the left is forced to resort to its tried and true method of squashing anything that challenges their narrative; censorship.

Some of you may remember Chloe Cole, a detransitioner who appeared in front of Congress and gave a heartfelt monologue to a mother about her child's plans to transition and that, even though she's going to an extreme, she deserves grace because she's scared for her kid. The monologue took America by storm and Cole became a prime representative of the detransition movement.

The message Cole sent while in Congress couldn't have been more clear. Transitioning, especially in someone's youth like Cole was pressured to do, isn't the good time that activists and members of the medical community say it is. It's destructive, scarring, and oftentimes regretted by the person who did it.

This message makes Cole a problem, and so she's a prime target for censorship. Naturally, the folks at Meta were happy to oblige.

According to a post from Cole on X, Facebook sent her a notification that her Instagram bio is too "violent." She posted what was on her bio, and from the looks of it, there's nothing violent at all. It's a very brief history of her transition/detransition journey.

Funny enough, Cole doesn't necessarily disagree, just not in the way Meta wants her to. The Post Millennial spoke to Cole about the decision from Facebook and she confirms that transitioning is, in actually, pretty violent:

In a statement to the Post Millennial, Cole said, "Facebook is absolutely correct in stating that my bio describes something violent-that is, my own life experiences." She continued, "However, I am doing quite the opposite of condoning what doctors did to me and instead using my experience to raise awareness and encourage others to be compassionate."

"It is upsetting that they can claim I am promoting violence and using this narrative to hide my content from parents, children, and those who need to hear my message the most," Cole concluded.

So what is Meta trying to say here?

Are they describing Cole's transition as violent with all the physical deformations she was led to have? If so, they're not wrong, but then they'd have to admit that there is something inherently wrong with transitioning, especially children. If it's violence, and violence is worth taking action against, then perhaps mainstream culture needs to take a look at its position on transitions and the wider transgender movement.

However, given that this is big tech we're talking about here, it's not likely they're referring to the mutilation of the body and the irreversible drugs as "violence." What they believe is "violence" is the idea that someone would want to detransition after transitioning due to the hefty weight of regret and likely various medical complications.

Anything spoken against the practice of "gender affirmation" has been labeled as real violence by various leftist groups, so naturally, the reference to detransitioning on Cole's bio would attract negative attention. If that's the case, then Meta has made its position on detransitioners very clear.

Meta believes these people are encouraging violence and fueling the "hate" toward the transgender community. Never mind that it's pretty clear that none of this is true. The narrative cannot be challenged and those who pose a threat to it must be silenced.

The censorship doesn't just stop at Cole and her bio. Big tech also censors us in an attempt to get us to stop discussing transgender issues as well.
