Former Hamas chief Khaled Mashaal gave a speech on Tuesday encouraging Muslims and Palestinian supporters to display their anger and begin pro-Palestinian demonstrations on Friday while begging for donations for Hamas to continue its war with Israel.

As reported by Reuters, Mashaal primarily aimed his speech at those living in the Arab and Islamic world, encouraging them to "head to the squares and streets of the Arab and Islamic world on Friday."

"Tribes of Jordan, sons of Jordan, brothers and sisters of Jordan... This is a moment of truth and the borders are close to you, you all know your responsibility," Mashaal said.

He also addressed all who teach and learn "jihad," or the Muslim holy war.

"To all scholars who teach jihad... to all who teach and learn, this is a moment for the application (of theories)," he added.

According to Morrocan TV Host Rachid Hammami (Brother Rachid), who watched the speech and translated it, Mashaal made four points during his speech.

First, for Muslim countries to show anger on Friday, but this also includes the Muslim diaspora around the world, calling it "the Friday of Al-Aqsa flood."

Secondly, he asked for donations from Muslims around the world to help the fighters of Gaza, calling it a "Financial Jihad."

Third, he encouraged Muslim leaders and nations to put political pressure on Israel to stop the invasion of Gaza.

Fourth, and Hammami noted this as the most important part, Mashaal asked that all Muslims "carry Jihad by their souls; to fight and be martyrs for Al-Aqsa." This is an encouragement for Muslims to fight Jews in Middle-Eastern countries, and an urge for "Mujahedeen to go in long caravans to spell their blood on the land of Palestine."

Hammami predicted Mashaal's speech would likely have an effect all over the world. As he posted on X, Friday may get dangerous for people in Arab countries, but also in the UK and America. He doesn't anticipate Muslims showing up at the border of Israel to carry out Jihad, however:

1. I predict possible terrorist attacks next Friday (or even before), in European countries and the U.S. against Jewish targets, and also American targets

2. I predict protests, in Muslim countries and in western countries, led by Islamists showing rage by acts of violence and destruction

3. I predict possible attacks against Americans and Jews in some of the Muslim countries

4. I predict no one will show up at the borders of Israel to carry Jihad

While we can hope that Hammami's predictions don't come true and there will be no additional violence outside of the war in Gaza, there is a very real danger that radicals will take Mashaal's message to heart and begin terrorist attacks on innocents in various countries, including the United States.

As the war in Gaza escalates, you will likely see the intensity and desperation ramp up from Hamas, possibly causing anti-Israel sentiment to flare up and reach boiling points.
