Transgender Activists Showed the Depths They'll Sink to While Disrupting a Riley Gaines Event

While it comes as no surprise that transgender activists are some of the most disgusting people to walk the Earth, going so far as to strip and dance in front of children, they also have no qualms when it comes to tasteless taunts either.

As Jennifer O'Connell reported last week, champion swimmer Riley Gaines hosted a library story hour for Brave Books. Along with her was Bethany Hamilton, a champion surfer who survived a shark attack that took her left arm. The duo read two books, one by Gaines titled Happy No Snakes Day and the other by Hamilton titled Surfing Past Fear.

The books feature positive themes such as overcoming fears and not believing lies.

Both women are known to speak out against transgender interference in women's sports, a cause that has put them in the crosshairs of transgender activists. Gaines, in particular, has attracted so much attention from these rabid activist groups that she's had violence done against her.

During their stop at a Missouri library, Gaines and Hamilton were confronted by transgender activists who do what they always do; disrupt the proceedings as best as they can in an attempt to shut down the event and silence their opponents.

According to the Washington Examiner, one of the protesters, in particular, decided to turn the disrespect up a few notches and showed up in a shark outfit, clearly mocking Hamilton and the shark attack that took her arm. The costume was in such bad taste that Brave Books CEO commented on it:

One activist was seen dressed as a shark to mock Hamilton, who survived a 2003 shark attack, which resulted in her left arm being bitten off. After the shark attack, Hamilton was not deterred and returned to professional surfing.

“We’ve seen activists at almost every one of our story hours. Sometimes they’re noisy, sometimes they’re dressed in drag, but these were downright nasty,” BRAVE Books CEO Trent Talbot told the Washington Examiner.

He added, “The activist who showed up dressed as a shark to target Bethany Hamilton is a terrible person. Once again, those who claim they are most tolerant turn out to be the most callous.”

Still, the act didn't deter Hamilton. She and Gaines continued with the event which was attended primarily by little girls and young women.

“I’m so grateful for the people of Missouri who came out to the story hour. The presence of a group of confused people dressed as a shark and clothed in pride did nothing to stop hundreds of families and young girls from taking in messages of truth and faith at our BRAVE Books story hour,” Gaines said.

Gaines presented Hamilton with the “True Woman of the Year” award during the event for her bravery in speaking out against men in women's sports, a decision that cost her a sponsorship with Rip Curl.

It's clear at this point that no amount of disruption or attempts at intimidation is going to stop someone like Gaines. In fact, the transgender activist community's anger and disgusting behavior only appear to be fueling her fame and making her more successful in getting her message out.

One thing is for sure, the media will continue to underreport (or not report at all) the disgusting behavior of transgender activists no matter what they do, even if they resort to extreme violence.

However, despite the media's lack of coverage, it would appear that America isn't buying the narrative that these transgender activists are the victims and these activists aren't doing much to convince the American people otherwise.
