  6. [mc_name name=’Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’R000595′ ] – 4%
  7. Donald Trump – 3.5%
  8. Chris Christie – 2.8%
  9. Bobby Jindal – 0.9%
  10. Sarah Palin – 0.8%
  11. Mike Huckabee 0.3%
  12. John Bolton 0.3%

There is an art to winning these sort of straw polls. You organize a campaign, bus in supporters and make a media splash. Paul’s father was good at it as well. Other than a few bragging rights and helping to convince people to contribute to you, it just doesn’t matter.
