This past Sunday, President Trump tweeted a quote from Rush Limbaugh regarding the deep state.
“These guys, the investigators, ought to be in jail. What
they have done, working with the Obama intelligence agencies, is simply unprecedented. This is one of the greatest political hoaxes ever perpetrated on the people of this Country, and Mueller is a coverup.” Rush Limbaugh
Rush is absolutely right, Mr. President (99.9% of the time anyhow). You were absolutely correct in quoting him. These criminals do need to be in jail. They have with malice and forethought and in some cases, in collusion (there’s that word again) with the Clinton campaign, perverted our intelligence and law enforcement systems and personnel, all to prevent the election of Donald Trump and maintain their grasp on power. When those efforts failed, they illegally used those same resources to undermine the duly elected President of these United States.
Like me, there are many of you out there reading this, who have had access to those same surveillance systems as part of your government or military duties. If any of us had even thought about doing what these folks have done, we’d be under Fort Leavenworth.
We sometimes have a tendency in our political system to let bygones be bygones following an election. We don’t follow up on open and notorious criminality. Even President-Elect Trump fell into this way of thinking. As reported by the Washington Examiner, shortly after the election and during the beginning days of the transition,
“I don’t want to hurt the Clintons, I really don’t,” Mr. Trump said in an interview with the New York Times “She went through a lot and suffered greatly in many different ways.” He also said the Clinton Foundation has done “good work.”
Enough of this. These unelected and out-of-control bureaucrats need to be brought firmly to heel. They need to be told clearly and unambiguously that their job is to serve duly elected officials and implement those policies, not their own. The best way to get this point across is to vigorously prosecute those who have misused the force and power of the Federal Government to victimize American citizens for the “crime” of supporting or working for, President Donald Trump.
Note to the President regarding, “He also said the Clinton Foundation has done “good work,” No Sir, they have not. The Clinton Foundation is merely a money laundering operation. Look for my future article on this.
