Awkward: Intellectual Giant Whoopi Goldberg Already Has a Job Picked Out for Jill Biden

Opinion leader Whoopi Goldberg wound up with egg on her face during yesterday’s broadcast of “The View.”

Whoopi, delighted by Joe Biden’s blowout Super Tuesday victory, told the panel, “I’m hoping Dr. Jill [Biden] becomes the Surgeon General.”

Strangely, the audience who may not have known that Jill Biden is a doctor of education, rather than medicine, applauded wildly. Jonathan Karl, a guest on the show, initially laughed and not wanting to insult Goldberg, sat there with a polite smile on his face.

She continued, “Joe Biden’s wife. He would never do it, but she’s a hell of a doctor. She’s an amazing doctor.”

Rather than setting Whoopi straight, her fellow panelists graciously tried to cover for her. One said mildly, “I thought she was a PhD.” Another said, “She’s a teacher, but you know.”

Yeah, we know.

Many Americans watch “The View” regularly and believe what they hear from these “savvy” women. That’s kind of scary.

I wonder what position she has in mind for Hunter in the Biden Administration.
